When this song was a hit in 1976, I was driving a Mercedes 230SL in Monte Carlo the weekend of the Grand Prix Formula I race. What a fantastic experience, and incredible time of my life, and everything anyone could ask for. I drove down from Stuttgart through the Swiss Alps to the Italian Riviera, and along the Riviera to Monte Carlo to meet a group of friends. I was already an ELO fan, and have been ever since!
