Awesome sound on the amp / guitar, But the video quality aint the best! But if you record with this sound you might get a really god sound!

@sicblister Presets on pedals are usually crap. Make your own sounds! That's what I do. The tone you here in this video was pretty much the best metal tone I found on the Pod. If you want a decent sounding pedal you will need to spend a little more than what the Pocket Pod costs and you will need to learn to make your own sounds.

@DJProductions100 Well it depends on what you are looking for. This is considered to be part of the lower range LTD series but I am happy with it. For its price it is decent. Try and play both guitars before buying to compare them because I am unfamiliar with the 101 so you'll have to find out yourself

@gabriel1490 - It is a slightly modified version of the preset called "Chugs and Kisses" It is found under Band > KSE > Chugs and Kisses.

And when I say "Slightly modified" I only mean changing a couple of things depending on the computer, whatever sounds good because it will often sound different through computer speakers compared to an amp.

Yes, but it can take a lot of time to work it out. The lower notes will have to be played an octave higher so even if you do work it out, it won't sound as good. You're better off just tuning it down to Drop A#

I record straight into the computer without an amp. The tone comes from a Line 6 Pocket pod. Its much better than using the audio on the camera because this way you dont have to worry about background noise or getting levels right, and it is all round better quality.

The amp that I do have when Im not recording is a Line 6 Spider 2 which is pretty good but lately ive just it straight through a pedal with a clean tone on the amp. My pedal is a zoom G2. It's a good setup for its cheap price.

I use to have the same problem. I think you can change the latency somwhere in preferences. Its mainly trial and error until you get it right.

All you need is a pod and a cord that connects straight into the back of the computer from the pod. I'm not exactly sure what kind but its he same size connection as ipod ear phones. Its the same on the other side too.

How do you connect it to the computer directly? I never looked it up but do you need some kind of special cable?

Oh yeah I'm not acutally sure what kind of cord it is but I was just lucky to have one lying around the house. Its a small 2 sided connection about the same size as ear phones on your iPod/mp3 etc. It just plugs into the back of the computer straight from your pod.

There is a connection at the back. There are 4 jacks - 2 1/4 inch (the size of a guitar lead) 1 for the A/C adapter (optional) and one for connecting up to the computer.

There is also a usb port which you can plug in to mess around with your sounds on the computer. Its just easier than doing it on the pod.. takes ages because there are so little buttons and they are small.
