  • @cozmic24 Yes Uncle Sam may you rot in hell!!!!!!!!!

  • @cozmic24 He even did THE SHUFFLE!!!!!!!

  • 0:21 - Boy, did I really see The Light! So did Brian London. At the time, he probably thought it was the aurora borealis, but it was actually The Light. Almost like Ken Clean-Air Systems v. Petula Wilcox.

  • This is laugh out loud incredible. Dude just didn't know what 2 do. Just went to the canvas.

  • This is laugh f

  • Brilliant, just perfect !!!

  • Credi to superfit Brian still runs 12 miles a day, and admits, "I was never hit so fast and hard in my life!"

  • it's good that Marciano didn't fight Ali. because if he did do the stupidity, his clean sheet of 0 losses would be destroyed by dancing passed prime Muhammad Ali

  • Sorry, but I went into VLC and measured the time and amount of punches.

Ali threw 12 punches in 2 seconds. (Around 1.85 seconds to be absolutely correct) He threw 5 punches, then threw London the wrong way by throwing a fake punch, and ended his flurry with 7 punches in a row.

I went down to 7 frames a second to get this result.

  • Handspeed is power, it's a law of physics, like a bullet the faster his hand travels the more destructive force it has.

  • @StoneyMcJuicyBuds You're absolutely wrong my friend, u can't compare throwing a punch to a bullet in that way. Throwing a punch is about the manipulation of the body, Ali can swing his fist as fast as he wants, but if he doesn't put his legs, and twist his body behind it, it won't be as powerful. Tyson, Liston, Shavers, Foreman, Frazier, these are great power punchers. Ali was a speedy puncher who knocked people out with flurries, those guys knocked people out cold with a single punch.

  • @rickosuave29 Tyson and Frazier are the only ones who had the handspeed to compete with Ali and forget Shavers he was a second rate fighter his entire career.

  • Ali would have beat the shit out of marciano. he beat chuvalo was similar fighter to maciano twice.

  • @veeseee128 and frazier who was like marciano too.

  • @veeseee128 Ali didn't think so ! neither did Frazier ! A 40 something Marciano was leaving welts on Ali during the filming of the ridiculous computer "Superfight". Which BTW Ali didin't even make the ORIGINAL final. He threatened to sue the promoter via "racism" if he didn't get into the final. Imagine a proclaimed racist crying racism ! Marciano gives anyone a tough fight. Marciano=Chuvalo? Laughable. Maybe to you, because they are both white? Yeah u know your boxing, LOL.

  • tyson would knock him out in the first round

  • target pratice

  • omg !11 shoot in 3 seconds !

  • Ali was the best- and it's arguable that he never even got to fight in his prime. He spent four years banned from boxing. That's not to say that there was not other great champions, or even whether one or some of them could have beaten Ali. It's just the range of opponent Ali faced and beat that stands out.

  • @blackbill2

ALi's got it all, some people say his power didn't stand out despite being pretty descent to good, but he beat or Koed 1/2 the top 10 hardest sluggers list, he could have taken out the other 1/2 when comparing, he did it all and his career was cut by 1/3 when fighting for civil rights. He wasn't just good he was inventive in the game both offesively and defensively in the best styles. Mike Tyson said this is his role model, he was inspired by meeting him. Sportsman of the century.

  • i dont think london was knocked down, i beleive that went down to save himself from any more punishment, and they say ali coul'nt hurt, bullshit.

  • Ali could hit hard. Patterson said in an interview when Ali first hit him he thought he could take 2 hits to deliver one of his own yet before he even knew what was happening he was dazed unable to get up.

  • the guy that was fighting muhammad ali was punching air while ali was doing his 11 punches lol check out at 0:16 to 0:20

  • @sexinthefetch yeah lol he was lost in limbo

  • tyson would have presented serious problems for ali in their respective primes, 66 ali 86 tyson oooooohh what a fight that would be

  • @gregm20072007 no he wouldnt tyson wouldny last long

  • Pittypat flurries that alot of heavyweights would laugh at.It was alis self preservasion and self determination that won big fights ,not this flurry of crap against a guy I could kick his ass.

  • Remember London afterwards "they said 'e were fast ,but not that fookin' fast"

  • London didn't stand a chance lol

  • @shak4lyf I could have beaten Brian the bum London!!! Damn,Ali fought some stiffs in his heyday but he did ko some giants also.

  • man ali just too fast hes the only one that could leave his guard others tried but failed he was just too fast for eyes

  • best fight ever

  • Marcianio fought bums. he wouldve got his ass whooped b Ali, Liston or Foreman.

  • Wow the flurry and dazzling hand speed. The guy never laid a hand on Ali.

  • he still can punch 11 times, only it takes him 30 seconds these days

  • Your right Jono I have never seen anyone in his weight class before or after display that type of hand and foot speed.

  • hes gonna float like a butterfly, and sting like a bee

  • now thats fast

  • Not fair!!! Ali suddenly had 8 hands!!

  • im going to flow like a butter fly and sting liek a bee he cant hit wat his eyes cant see and i 4got the rest lol

  • Excuse me! What! He is the worlds greatest!

  • Ali is a legend.. But the best fighter of all time probably has a name nobody knows and was never on television

  • Can't understand people who try to put Ali down and make him into less than he was, which was simply the best heavyweight boxer of all-time, no question. He had it all: smarts, toughness, heart, killer instinct, athleticism, and amazing competitiveness. He ducked no one. And he reigned supreme during the most competitive era in heavyweight history. He came back after a long layoff and still dominated. He was simply an amazing fighter and it's just unfortunate he hung on too long. Ali bomaye!!!!

  • @ENGLAND1987 coopers face was cut because ali hit it lol

  • @500bhpcossie you are clueless! He still beat Cooper (twice) and was undefeated in his prime before the 3 and a half year layoff. Since he almost never got hit when he was champ the first time 64-67 he had great defence. Later when he slowed down he used the ropes and got hit much more. Ali is no1.

  • You are so wrong. He did get put down by Cooper's best punch, but that's boxing, theres a reason why odd's in boxing dont have huge differences, one punch can change a fight.

No-one is better than Ali, not Louis not Marciano.

  • Mayweather is a fight dodging pussy... Ali is overrated? Go fuckin die somewhere....

  • 500bhpcossie, first of all: you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Second: didn't they teach you how to write properly and where to put punctuation marks?

  • tell me where ive gone wrong coz il tell you a little something forget ali the person strip him down to just his abilty ok wots he really got a great chin yes good foot work yes amzing hand speed no he was quite accreute but the hole hand speed thing bollocks show me a fight where he looked really good wot ali had in the 60s that no other fighter had was a brian he wernt a brawler he used to let big slugers punch em slevs out then pop back with his own shot he was smart in that sense

  • wot ive found about most ali fans is thay are band waggon people that he about his rocky storys and go wow ali the best when you sit down and watch him he was over rated fact people in them days had never seen his type before so thay though wow hes so speical truth is he was just diferent yes i cant spell well done

  • and for the record tyson had much quicker hand speed and thats a fact

  • Tyson much quicker handspeed? You mean the butcher with lack of technique, who bits of pieces of ear and who tried to break his opponents arm.

Quicker handspeed than Ali? You can't be serious!

  • @mjhaan Actually, you can't be serious. Mike Tyson has quicker hand speed than Muhammad Ali and that's no question. If you're doubting Tyson, then YouTube search "Mike Tyson Speed" and witness his hand speed at the age of 16...And that's BEFORE he went professional.

  • @mjhaan Tyson was incredibly fast. Speed is a hard thing to define in boxing.

Ali moved and glided in and out and had extremely beautiful footwork, but standing in front of an opponent and just letting a combination fly I think Tyson's hands were faster with more power.

I would not like to have fought either.

  • @mjhaan lack of technique? so what are u an mma fan?

  • @rosakop1 If mma means Muhammad Ali, yes I am.

  • @haantje68 ok so a muhammad ali fanboy who knows everything about ali but nothing about boxing?

  • Comment removed

  • @rosakop1 You're one of those types that has to end their comments with question marks to provoke a pointless, endless and most of the time unpleasant argument. You picked the wrong guy, sorry.

  • @haantje68 one of those types? so do you do this often that you have come to a conclusion about different types of people on youtube commenting? get a life bro

  • Everytime a black man talks about boxing, a white man has to bring up Rocky Marciano!!!

    -Coming To America

  • Well, that's not true, I'm a white Brit and Ali is my hero and inspiration, so some racists may bring up Marciano, but true boxers/fighters and boxing fans know that Ali is the greatest

  • cooper put ali on his ass no doubt but i think if ali iewed him as a serious opponent it probs wudnt have happened

  • its like a kid claim to beat his father hahaha

  • Marciano retired because he knew his next fight could be a loss. He was getting old, especially for his style. Rocky was in it strictly for the money. Ali liked the money, too. But he really loved boxing. That's another good reason why Ali was the greatest of all time.

  • @2242bzo I agree with you 100%. Rocky knew a young prime Sonny Liston and Muhammad Ali was on the way up. That is why he retired.

  • If my memory serves me well, London was asked after the fight if he had any advice for Ali's next opponent, Karl Mildenberger. He replied: "Don't bother, lad. Don't bother". Quite a wit, but good advice!

  • And also Marciano's ex-trainer (Goldman)said Marciano hit really hard in the 50's but in the 60's/70's a boxer like Bonavena hit as hard or even harder than Marciano.

  • Trouble is willen08, ex-trainers are like ex-girlfriends or ex-wifes, they allways reduce the size of your willy by at lease 2 inches.

  • Archie Moore (who fought Rocky and Ali)said the only boxer who could beat Ali was Joe Louis. He said that even before Ali's prime so imagine what Archie thought in Ali's primes, I'll tell, even Joe Louis would lose against Ali.

Marciano wouldn't have a chance against Ali.

  • Actually Moore later said that both in their primes Ali beats Joe Louis or any heavyweight ever.

  • @iamtman1 Really? In the book i have by Archie Moore he say.."and i quote" The reason Ali sustained so much damage was the he refused to learn how to box correctly and the Ali wanted to be like Sugar Ray Robinson but wouldn't dedicate himself to the process of learning the finer points of the craft..which led him to having to depend on his heart, chin and durability to carry him when his legs, handspeed and mobility failed him.

  • @merryhobgoblin Yes REALLY! Moore did say many times that Ali would have beaten Louis and he's right. Moore did also say (as you note) that there were certain things Ali ignored as a fighter (ex, body punching, ducking instead of leaning back from a blow etc) due to his belief that doing those things would expose him to a punch. Ali himself admitted that. But despite that, Moore always said peak Ali (mid 60's) beats peak Joe Louis. Yes REALLY!

  • @iamtman1 And which article was that in then?

  • @merryhobgoblin Articles not article. Several times in Box illus, Ring, and other boxing mag's. He (Moore) also in Tom Hauser's bio on him said Ali in Moore's view tbeats Louis "4 out of 5 " times. Direct quote.

  • @iamtman1 Ali never fought Norton in his (ALI) prime. Ali would have sliced him to ribbons in the mid 60's. Also Ali would have been constantly hitting and moving at a faster pace than Louis ever saw if they had fought. Ali remember didn't rope a dope in his prime. He did all those gimmicks when his legs started to slow in the 70's. That version wouldn't have touched the mid 60's version of Ali-Clay. Both Ali-Louis great.

  • @iamtman1 interesting...and good point that Ali rarely body-punched. one would think with such skill, especially with the feint and other deceptions, that he would have used it more ? what do you think?

  • @elainesman Ali felt that body punching would expose him needlessly to a counter in return. And in his prime Ali almost never got hit due mostly to his amazing speed, but almost as much due to his choice of fighting from the outside, and going inside only when unloading those blinding flurries (almost all to opponents head).

  • @iamtman1 . thank you for that= very interesting. cheers.

  • @iamtman1 very true.....and Moore loved Louis

  • @iamtman1 Archie Moore was right.

  • Welcome to the Rocky Marciano debate forum.

  • Well said! Don't see the point in discussions about who would have won, Ali, Marciano, Tyson. We will never find out, so why bother.

  • A champion is only as great as his opposition. If Marciano had beaten a young Sony Liston or Floyd Patterson before retiring, then Rocky would have been the greatest. But that never happenned. Ali knocked out Foreman, an all time great champion in his prime, while Ali himself was past his prime. That's why Muhammad Ali, even to this day, is the greatest heavyweight champion.

  • @duprez2 Your right Duprez I wish that Marciano would have fought Ali when Ai was young. He would have thrown in the towel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • @duprez2 Ali never backed away from fighting anyone, even when he was brain damaged and slow (see the Larry H. fight). He was a warrior of the first order, and he paid the price for it. Anyone who questions Ali's heart or courage is a total d. bag, hater, & no-nothing.

  • @duprez2 marciano would have been KO"D by Liston,Jesus, liston would have been arrested for murder!!!!!! Even china chin patterson might have beaten marciano.Marciano was overrated.A wonderful man but overrated. He struggled with a 175lber named archie moore.could you imagine what a 230 lb foreman would have done to the cruiserweight marciano at 184?

  • @fadethetrade - Archie Moore was regarded as one of the greatest pfp fighters in history. Marciano was 'wonderful' but 'overrated'... ? Comparing bigger and heavier fighters from different eras is pointless. If big always equals better it would be simple to do that, but it isn't. Incidentally, why don't you turn pro, you sure talk a good fight?

  • @fadethetrade - Archie Moore was regarded as one of the gretest pfp fighters in history. Marciano was 'wonderful' but 'overrated'? Comparing fighters from different eras is pointless but if 'bigger' equals 'better', it would be easy. Incidentally, do you fight as well as you talk? If so, maybe you should turn pro!

  • @prescient8 POund for pound, rocky was on the top, matching fighter with fighter,he gets creamed by the new breed of heavyweights beginning with ali.I don't care what you believe.I think with my headnot my heart or dick as you do. I was a fighter and would kick your ass in 1 round! Sorry Mate!

  • @fadethetrade Maybe, but the thing about Marciano was that he was able to learn new things and entered the ring in perfect shape in every fight. He practically learnt footwork and defence from scratch, so he could have been able to learn a way to last in Ali's generation of Champions. However ultimately I don't think he would have been able to have beaten Ali,Frazier or Foreman. But this is something I cant prove or speculate on properly.

  • @EbsNhexz When you have a guy who was 187 lbs and a 67 inch reach against guys like ali, holmes, lewis with 82 plus reaches,it's virtually impossible for rocky to have reached them and the body shots wouldnt have enough effect on them,Also, they would be tattooing his face with jabs and right hands and 12 rounds isnt that long, maybe if rocky had the speed of a tyson, then he would have a chance.Tyson in his 1988 prime could have very well beaten ali, holmes and lewis because mike was superbly fast!

  • @fadethetrade I think his weight wouldn't have been an issue, he would probably have been able to put on the pounds. The only thing that could have compensated his reach was how he was able to get very low an punch from crazy angles. I agree there were plenty of preceding boxers that would have been able to beat him. But if he would have fought in their generations he would have a very different style and perhaps had a chance. Not overrated though, kept soo many people out of the hall of fame.

  • @fadethetrade Tyson couldn't have beaten Ali who was a master of ring psychology Tyson didn't have much mental strenght. Holmes had a brilliant chin if Shavers couldn't knock him out thenneither could Tyson he would outlast Tyuson and go on to win. Lewis had a style advantge over Tyson with his superior reach and jab. Tyson didn't have the mental strenght to defeat Holmes or Ali in their primes as they would get up and fight back.

  • @duprez2 I He couldn't beat Sonny lIston, to big, to strong. But he would have beaten Patterson.

  • @duprez2 Your right,,,,no one had the quality of opposition to beat than Ali had.Except for perhaps Sugar Ray Robinson,,,and he was the greatest as well.

  • @duprez2 Ali even did the shuffle while hitting London AMAZING

  • @duprez2 But Ali lost 5 times Marciano lost 0

  • @whitedeviltx Your absolutely right, but who has Marciano really fought? Rocky has never fought any top heavyweights in their prime. If Marciano had beaten Louis, Walcott, Moore, Patterson, and Liston in their primes, then without question Rocky would have been the greatest. However, an undefeated record means nothing if all of your opponents are underclassed. Mike tyson looked unbeatable until he stepped into the ring against great heavyweights like Lewis and Holyfield.

  • @duprez2 I see your side of the argument but Rocky didnt dodge any bigtime fighters he beat everyone of his era and did it with class, he conducted himself like a true champion plus he beat some pretty damn good guys even an old Louis is a win you can hang your hat on, Archie Moore was an all time great albeit a Light heavy, He beat Ezzard Charles twice and of course jersey Joe, what Im trying to say its not his fault that the 60's and 70' may have had deeper competition, he bat who was there

  • @whitedeviltx A young Sonny Liston was there at the tail end of Marciano's reign. To be the greatest, you have to beat the greatest opposition, not just opponents who are pretty damn good. If Rocky had atleast one successful title defense against the young, ferocious Liston before retiring, then the argument about whose the greatest heavyweight would be over and done before it started. No champion after Rocky would've had the distinction of beating a prime Liston. Certainly not Patterson OR Ali

  • @duprez2 You said it just right. Ali was pass his prime and ko'd a prime Foreman. While Rocky Marciano could have stayed around a few years to fight Sonny Liston but he retired.

  • @duprez2 I agree, im tired of a whiteman always saying marciano was the best. All the black fighters marciano faced were passed their prime.ex ezzard charles and louis. to name a few.

  • @duprez2 speed kills

  • He kicked his ass!

  • Orangewind. I agree with you on that maybe if he faught more fights that their was a possibility that he could of lost just because of the fact that anyone can lose a fight because of an opponents lucky shot. But 49 fights is definitely enough fights, that's a lot more than fighters today. Boxing is a joke now unless you watch lightweights. He wasn't a very healthy man tho, that's probably why he died in his 40's. So maybe that's why he didn't fight more.

  • Dude, you're a dumbass, Marciano fought 42 of his 49 fights in New York and Boston, beating newbies, his championship fight came in 1952 and after winning he only defender his tittle 6 times and retired, now that's a pussy. I'm not saying he was the worst boxer, but he's definitely not among the Top 5 Best Heavyweights ever, Also he died in a plane crash, not because he wasn't a healthy man LoL :]

  • Oh my bad, I didn't know his cause of death. I just now that he died young. So i just assumed it was of natural causes. How can you see beating newbies? Yeah at first he did, but that was so he can fight his way for a title fight. Noone beats up on a bunch of great fighters before they even get a shot at the title. His last fight when he was in his 30's came against Archie Moore who had frkn over 220 fights and only 23 losses. He retired after only 6 title defenses cause he nothing left to prove

  • Dude you're wrong, waaay wrong! Ali's 19th fight was his first championship fight, Marciano's first tittle bout was his 42ND fight! see the difference now and after winning Marciano defender his tittle 6 times and got knocked down twice, but managed to win the fight, i guess he got scared of losing or whatever.

P.S. he had much more to prove than that!

  • You can have whatever opinion about who was the best, but Rocky Marciano was no pussy.

What's the point of fighting and fighting? To end up punch drunk like Ali, or Frazier? Even Holmes is worse for wear.

The only guy to have fought both Marciano and Ali is Archie Moore. His opinion probably carries more weight than anybody's. He always maintained Marciano was the most brutal puncher over the course of a fight, ever. And Moore worked with Foreman until Zaire.

  • Owned

  • Ali was definitely one of the greatest heavyweight champs, but Rocky Marciano was the best heavyweight champ ever. He is still the only undefeated heavyweight champ in boxing history with a record of 49-0.

  • Ali at this time (1966) would have destroyed Marciano in his prime.

  • coz he fought nobody!

  • dude Joe Louis was way over the hill & past his prime when he fought Marciano & he was already 37 years old that time! After Walcot lost his heavyweight title to Marciano.Marciano did not have any good opponents in his era.Charles,LaStarza and after them all bums!

  • That was the stupidest comment I have ever read. Kill yourself

  • Wow, trolling comments that are 3 months old, what an exciting life you must lead HeHeHe. The reason coopers face bled, was because he was prone to cuts, and Ali wasn't........simples. Anyway, it still doesn't take away the fact that Copper put Ali on his arse, thus knocking the snot out of him. : P

  • *Cooper*

  • Um. No. You are incorrect. Don't try again.

  • It all makes sense why Ali beat the snot out of a British guy...I just found out Ali's great grandfather was a white guy from Ireland.

So Ali had a combination of the Irish never back down attitude and the black athleticism. It all makes perfect sense now.

  • And cooper knocked the snot out of Ali.

  • Cooper knocked the snot out of ALi? hahahah...it was a sheer luck my friend...cooper got his ass whooped twice so bad he couldn't stop bleeding...u can ask him..he'll tell you!

U can't mess with such speed of footwork and chin.

    All the best!

  • You're fucking retarded, your username shows your pathetic bias. He knocked the snot out of Ali because he knocked down ali once and Ali got up 3 seconds after? or because he was left a bleeding fucked up mess at the end of the fight while Ali was beating the ever-loving shit out of him? I'm not familiar with your brit talk so maybe that's what knocking the snot out of means..am I right?

  • London should have stayed in Blackpool! Never had a hope of beating Ali, but his best pay day.

That said, London gave Zora Foley a tough time and bashed up Billy Walker.

  • i count 13 :D :L

  • Ali is a great fighter but as i no brian london rather well and talk to him alot he lives round the corner from me at stanley park blackpool =) He had guts going up against ali ill give him that peace guys

  • What amazes me is how Ali is able to perfectly follow London's head even as he ducks. Unreal.

  • Even though Marciano never lost, the people, even the establishment, call Muhammad Ali the Greatest. Before Ali came along they used to call Joe Louis the Greatest , not Rocky Marciano. Tyson has come and gone also, the World has seen him, and STILL , they call Ali the Greatest. Plus Rocky cheated when he hit Walcott with a left hook after he was already down and finished at 38 yrs old in the 13th round. Make all the excuses you want, Rocky should have been disqualified. 1 Loss 4 Rocky.

  • well who knows what could have happened if Tyson and Ali fought. Tyson was a freak of nature himself. He just kept getting his dumbass into trouble. I mean u look how quick he was not to mention how powerful his punches were. Ali i dont think has ever met anyone like Tyson. Then again Ali was so quick who knows if Tyson wouldve landed a punch

  • its soo freaky my bffl is kelbyharper and her grandad is brian london the boxer and ive seen him everyday after school :)

  • And this was also Round number 3... AND HE STILL HAS THE STAMINA LEFT TO DO THAT...

    My idol!!

  • We cannot compare champions from different eras. MArciano dominated his era and Ali domintaed his, end of story.

After this fight London said "They told me he was quick, they told me he was fast, but nobody said he was bloody lightning"

  • Marciano was a flamboyant person of his OWN time era and nothing more, we cannot predict what might have happend if he mixed gloves with ali....

  • ya we can cuz ali prime vs marciano prime ali would land 11 punches in 3 seconds and dance circles around him in the process marciano couldn't do it so wat if he is a heavy hitter ali beat foreman, holmes patterson, liston, norton n he took joe fraziers best hit square in his jaw n still won, there is nothing marciano could do to beat ali. period.

  • quantum theory- we cannot describe reality UNTIL the measurement has been taken, scientifically speaking.

  • You can't compare eras. You think that is what would happen but you do not know for sure. They never fought and they never will so we will never know. I think Ali would be a heavy favorite but I have seen many fights where the heavy favorite lost. But in the end it's just an opinion because we have no way of knowing for sure.

  • true but i can compare the level of competition that each fighter fought, granted each fought the best of their time, the caliber of fighters in Ali's time were much higher than Marciano's. that is a good indicator of the outcome. But every boxer has good fights n bad fights so marciano could get lucky. ur right, we have no way of knowing for sure.

  • Marciano retired undefeated at 49-0. We will never know how good he really was because nobody pushed him to the edge of his ability. Also must consider advances in training techniques, nutrition and just general boxing knowledge.

  • you cant compare ..different times, back then they used to train different ..in ali's time, in tyson's time it was more spped, power, and reflexes, sure ali had reflexes, but it wasn't the same ..i think, right now they also train for more stamina ..

  • They fought 15 rounds back then so stamina was more of an issue. I have never seen anyone with reflexes faster than Ali in his prime. Tyson had more power. With regards to foot work and hand speed, Tyson was awesome but Ali was more elusive and faster. It would have been a question of could Tyson catch him, we will never know. But i would guess if they fought 10 times Ali would win 6-4.

  • Then you dont watch boxing..because Roy Jones TODAY in his 40s has more reflexes than ALI in his PRIME!! Jones in his Prime makes Ali look like a baby. Its funny how you people make up fantasies and kiddie stuff like fighting 10 times Ali would win 6 fights..lol.. Tyson would have destroyed ali in PRIME..

  • Ali in his prime was a heavyweight, Jones was a middleweight. Just shows you how fast Ali was when you are bothering to compare reflexes. I suspect Tyson is the only real heavyweight champion you have ever seen. Ali was too smart and too fast for Tyson. As for not watching or knowing boxing, I won the golden gloves with an amateur record of 22-0 so I must have no idea what I am talking about. What qualifies you as an expert? Have you ever actually seen a boxing ring?

  • You mean 0-22..LOL. I have been in MANY GYMS and fought MANY socalled good amateurs.. You are fucking crazy if you think Ali was faster than Roy Jones..NOW I see your just on ALIs dick bag.. You cant be serious..? Tyson was faster than Ali..!!! He was able to throw 5 punches in LESS than a minute!! Go look at his training videos and then look at Ali bullshit training.. Tyson introduced the TRUE meaning of a fast heavyweight because he was a BIG Heavy with Muscle and speed.. go learn!

  • You completely missed my point so I doubt you have ever even seen the inside of a boxing ring. 5 punches in less than a minute, big deal!!!!

Jones was a middleweight, Ali was a heavyweight and their speeds were comparable. Watch Ali vs London and pay attention to his footwork, reflexes and then his hand speed. 14 punches in 3 seconds while landing 11. Tyson was nowhere near that fast in the ring.

As for 0-22, you would be on your ass pretty quickly, that I can promise.

  • HE DID NOT throw 14 he threw TEN (10) punches in 3 minutes and THREE LANDED!!!! London was a BUM and and was 32yrs old. I dont think you fake retarded boxing fans understand that 30 is OLD in boxing!! Especially back in the day when they fought a lot more fights. 27 is OLD!! Just look at the current top fighters of today ALL about to retire some already retired and came back!! Oscar 32, Floyd 30, Gatti 34, Hatton 30, Pacman about to retire I would say in 2yrs hes 30 now!

  • Actually 13 punches in 3 seconds. I guess you missed a few because he threw them so fastt!!!! Count again.

You need to learn the difference between a minute and a second. Tyson was nowhere near that fast, neither was Jones.

Yes London was a bum, but Ali still threw the punches that fast. Who did Tyson beat in his prime? Name one good fighter. I bet you can't.

Ali would have made Tyson look ponderous.

  • Ali would have totally owned Tyson with both in their primes.

  • The sad part is the US government deprived us of Ali's prime. We never even got a chance to see how good he would have been.

  • He never reached his peak because of the 3 and a half yr layoff. But what we saw in 1966-67 was still the best heavyweight champ ever.

  • @Midnightrambler3760 ty the only eason tyson was in his prime was cuz he fought shit

  • @messier991102 Like most fighters coming up Tyson was protected but he was also focused up until 1998. When Don King took over it all went south.

  • Im sorry but i agree with midnightrambler.

I think tyson was awesome but ali was a master of his craft, there was more rivalry in Alis day (foreman, frazer, holmes, liston).

I think if ali would of ever fought tyson,Ali would of frustrated the hell out of tyson, and who knows how tyson would of reacted to that...maybe try to bite his head off...lol

  • ali is amazing...no one, marciano or tyson can match him. A great fighter faces obstacles and overcomes those obstacles. A perfect record robs you of the title "Greatest", that goes for marciano and floyd mayweather.
