  • I have seen a Turkish guy's mum, this seems like an accurate portrayal.

  • uh...fail

  • i m not afraid

  • turkish star wars.

  • It seems awesome!, i hope i can get it in English hehe

  • This may very well be the best Lovecraft adaption yet!

  • The interesting thing is, that according to various Lovecraft Scholars, many of his inspirations came from various Mideast sources.

  • Yes, you are right! Since the age of about 11 Lovecraft lived in those lores, gathering inspiration, inventing names - like Abdul Alhazared for himself, the "ancient Tomes"...

    Good comment! Cheers, H

  • @NodDisciple1

Which scholars, exactly? He was greatly interested in Greek and Arab mythology as a child (his early Dreamland works were in the vein of Lord Dunsany who was Irish), but was influenced more than 95% by Poe, an American.

  • @binarynightmare Exactly, I meant Arab when I said Mideast, sorry for not being specific enough. X-/

  • @NodDisciple1

Thanks for replying! You posted that loike 3 years ago...

But yeah, he didn't get a lot of inspiration from Arab sources (save for one book I can'r recall the name of, it's pretty famous - drawing a blank on it), although the author of the Necronomicon was from Yemen. Alhazred was his alter ego he played as when he was kid. I love that.

  • @binarynightmare Oh, the book was "1001 Arabian Nights."

  • @NodDisciple1

That's the one! I was blanking on the name for some reason.

But yeah, he loved that book. He even said in a letter he was a genuine pagan as a child, building little altars to Pan!

  • Will it be released in the UK? It looks good!

  • *_*

    INTERESANTE...MUCHO

  • perfecto!
