Seriously people, stop being so alarmist about the spinning. I have a 12 year old bullie and he spins when he's excited, always has. It's not the same as chasing their tail. If your dog is chasing it's tail and has a serious problem, you'll know.
Good lord, why are so many people bitching about the bullie spinning? The majority of them do this when they're excited - it's not detrimental to the dog in any way. I'd advise you look up "bull terrier doughnuts"; they're not chasing their tail, it's not an obsessive act - in reality, all it is is an expression of excitement as commonplace in these dogs as 'bullie running'. They're a high-energy animal.
The little girl is dancing and so is the dog. Don't make it something it isn't. I think the video is cute. I grew up with a dog and loved playing with it. This is something they enjoy doing together.
@jstamota It's true. I just looked it up. Way to upload a video of you practically abusing your dog you ignorant asshole! LOL There's medication you can get for your dog if he spins on a regular basis. Intervening is often non-effective. Thanks to your video... I LEARNED SOMETHING NEW TODAY!
You are possibly referring to the ocd of chasing their tail? There is a difference betw chasing it's tail, and spinning in exitement. Bullies tends to spin round and round when exited you know, not connected to the ocd.
do not let bull terrier ever think that chasing tail is good and never allow to do it , they can really hurt them self while doing that. Every decent breeder would tell u so
It's not chasing it's tale... it's just spinning with joy. Our bullie does it all the time.. that is, after have torn the house and garden destroying everything in her path!
he he love these dogs, the only real dogs out there.
@JenJoe1987 When a bullie spins like that it called a, "Hucklebutt". It's what they do when they are very happy or over stimulated. Fisrt time I seen my Jack do it I almost pissed myself laughing. They are such clowns.
Im just curious but when hes chasing his tail like that, is it a bad thing? Im really interested in getting a bull terrier and doing as much research as I can. Thank you
@phinsrundis - spinning is indeed common in this breed, unfortunately. It can be a form of obsessive compulsive disorder, and is no fun to live with AT ALL. It is generally genetic, so if you are able to find out anything about the lines from which you are buying, that would be advantageous. All you can do is try to find blood lines that don't appear to have spinners. This depends on the breeders being completely honest. Good luck. This is a wonderful breed.
And they do bully runs too!

@broulifl yeah i think its called ocd its a disease they get
supermanerbestur 1 year ago
@supermanerbestur fake ocd isnt real, cant be tested for, doesnt have a phisical symtom. ocd is so your doc can fill up your kid with drugs.
behavior isnt a disease in a child and isnt in your dog.
ask your doc about it,or your vet
