this song was a master peace i used to think it was creepy from the exorcist but my father showed me the full song and its amazing brilliant and soothing, love it start to finish
l listened to this , and only his from 1973 when l was five until about "76 when l got a JMJ Lp Equininox, l think his second, and that was it until Five miles out , Like adagio for strings or Gorecki's Sym No 3, cant be bettered, Mike tried to and still a nice draw,
Always makes my spine tingle and its so simple..in theory
Sweet, sharp, brittle, haunting, cheery and hypnotic. To me, this is Mike Oldfield at his best. And let's not forget the huge part played by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra in all this. Absolutely marvelous work. And the video is a real wowser, too! :D
I don't know why but this has always reminded me of something that could have been written by someone like J.S. Bach. The constant motif is absolutely hypnotic, powerful and yet delicate.
I always thought this song was of a rain storm with it starting out as a sprinkling working its way to wind, lighting and thunder. That is the whole song that is 45 minutes long.
I came here for the song, but the vid is awesome too, beautiful pictures, wow!

I am so glad this music has never been tainted by that movie for me. I love TB and Mike Oldfield and his sister Sally... Amazing stuff. Thank you!
