Not a fair comparison...two totally different classes of cars. The 350Z has 87 hp and 67 tq more, is lower and wider, equipped with wider and stickier tires, and is RWD. The Golf R probably wouldn't keep up with a 350Z on the track, but a drag race would be close. However...the GTI is more refined, more composed, and more mature than the Nissan.
@shadynebey The video not meant to be fair in that a sanctioning body has not separated the cars into classes for the purpose of competition.
It also does not address subjective categories of consumerism like refinement, composure, and maturity.
It's a race video. The 350Z is significantly faster in this case. And that's all it is meant to represent. I make several comparisons of cars in my videos. They show which cars are faster, and which can only be faster given driver skill levels.
The GTI is more than likely stock. They turn into little monsters when modded.
