To be honest (I bought this camera) it has quite big limitations,like all cheap cameras in this pricerange. Unfortunately is has a very nervous ,undecisive and very slow auto focus when moving the camera around, and the anti shake compensation is not working well AT ALL !!! This is a camera for the tripod - Always. But then it will give you very crisp pictures. If you buy this camera you will have to plan youre shots very carefully !

CG10 of course. The camera is pretty much flawless. I haven't had a problem with it since purchasing it.

Thanks, cause I was planning to buy either 2000, or the vpc-fh1. My reason is that you able to take a picture while taking a video at the same time. And also its able to take 12 snap shot per second which good. Is that CG10 had the same feature like the I just told? MP4 doesn't work on Vista Windows Movie Maker :-( I tried everything, it just doesn't work. If you could help me with this problem then I would be forever in debt to you...not really but it would help me if you could do that anyways :-)

There is nothing you can do. Just download sony vegas.

Actually I just converted the files :-) takes a bit but whatever, the camera is too good to return! Also Windows Movie Maker does work with MP4 you just gotta trick the program, but that is a hastle.....Sony Vegas is also a great alterioir and way way superior to most other video editing programs!

@DefeatingBoredom I was using the Sony Vegas Pro Trial but it will run out soon and I don't really want to buy an editing program, although Vegas is AMAZING! I may get a MacBook or iMac in the next few months so you know if I can survive with MP4 until then I will be fine. I really like the camcorder, one of the greatest ones you can get for that price! But I am thinking of returning mine to get a Flip HD camcorder. Any opinions on a Flip HD guys? Thanks!

@killswitchOMEGA just got my vpc-cg10 yesterday, uploading a video now. Im going to stick with windows and sony vegas. I dont like the flip, its akward to hold, and doesnt have a nice pretty screen. seems the sanyo has more functionality also

@killswitchOMEGA The sanya also has a quick boot time. Despite having to flip it. I just noticed mine turns on when i flip it open and goes into stand by when closed. Its a very good camera. Loving it alot. Just recorded some more footage of the arsenal of fireworks i got for tonight for my friends on facebook to see. Its such great quality.

NO, not at all. I use a somewhat old laptop which is shown in front of the camera. You shouldn't have a problem because of the age of your pc.

I just bought a GG10 (from radio shack as well, and the same color which I really like) and let me tell you it's AWESOME. the picture quality is really clean, and so is the audio.

the battery life is decent. BUT here's the thing, you can go on EBAY and buy 2 higher powered batteries for like 10.00

they look like cellphone batteries. Plus it's really comfortable to use
