Yes!!! Winnipeg will finally be getting an NHL franchise again! I am soooo happy for the good citizens of that city! Hope they're renamed the Jets! I was sad when NHL hockey left Winnipeg back in 1996. Hopefully, Quebec City will get their NHL team back very soon as well. Long live Canadian Hockey!

check out the the video at 0:19....... you will notice that the logo on the hockey bag is the 1996-2001 Manitoba Moose logo!!!!!! Maybe some early branding by the NHL and Chipman.... seeing as they want to keep the Moose brand if the NHL returns to Winnipeg

Hopefully the Islanders get a new arena cuz they have a fan base and history there. But most likely Atlanta cuz the current owners want out and nobody wants to keep the team there so I expect a move to Quebec unless they were to move to Kansas City before hand.

Those two teams in particular mean everything to any Canadian NHL fan anywhere. We see The Jets or the Nordiques symbol and we become catatonic.
