How does a person become a historic figure? Just meet someone/something from the future, get as much as possible of their/it's workings - and Whammo !! You're a genius. This movie Telegraphs the scenario way too much. It really needs more simple expansion of the story line. Simply by taking out many of the long car trips and pauses - Time can be added to the writing - more indepth - and therefore, more interesting and improved quality. That's the difference between a Good Movie and a "B",
I had to watch this a couple of times to figure out who is the master, and who is the student. These things I know: We have no limits but those we choose for ourselves; We cannot be all things to all people; Choose wisely.

Superb dialog delivered perfectly. Reminiscent of the great Spock-McCoy debates in Star Trek.
