  • i know what im driving in 2012

  • At first I thought the video had no sound :)

  • As of now, the SEPs are little more than a platform for developing technology. And with Hägglunds being a part of the BAE Systems conglomerate, it is likely to stay that way, as other similar products offered by BAE will be more mature and hence cash generating.

None the less, a promising concept, combining main diesel engines and electric engines actually driving the wheels. Just about superb for "stealth" battlefield forward observation. Among other things.

  • It also is very low to the ground. Makes it hard to see.

  • looks like a big fuckin hoover on tracks

  • wow thats amazing - what powers it?

  • Diesel. A diesel-engine is powering a generator that charges batteries and the propulsion is electric, the advantages are that it is more fuel- and space-efficient, and also gives great possibility to attach heavy duty electric components. If you temporarily turns off the generator, you can also have a less noisy vehicle, which might be useful if you wish to avoid detection.

  • 2 diesel engines (normal care engines). and electric motors!

  • Now that's quiet..

  • This is the future
