@triplebettslord I wish what you said were true, but his records against Australia, be in ODI or tests, isn't particularly great. If that were, it would have been a hell of a lot better, for there is nothing like amassing runs against the top-side in the world (at least, then!). But that being said, he has scored runs against all other nations, though more prolifically in ODI than tests. I am one of his most passionate fans. Miss you DADA!

i remember this inings ganguly got out scoring 125 in just 25th over but sachin took 48 overs to complete his century that too by scoring two runs of 48th over that too bowled by kallis thats why india scored only 270 and lost had sachin been a little more aggressive 50-60 more runs could have been scored and india could have won the match

he hit another six too, off Nel I think..Somehow u get the feeling while looking back that Ganguly, as a batsman was a consistent dominant force in the international cricket then, the aggressor, and the enforcer. Cricket seems to have moved fwd now, become faster and more power-driven and Sachin and Saurav no longer are what they were even if they themselves have not regressed.
