I read the book constantly when I was younger but the movie just wasn't the same, some parts were but they changed some of the names of the character and the storyline (that had been extended) kind of killed it. But with bands like the Yeah, Yeah Yeahs and Arcade Fire on the soundtrack it brings back alot of memories and is defiantely worth buying
