"Spheres" is such an underrated gem; I listen to that album about twenty times in a row every time I throw it on in the car. This does sound like crap with the new drums though; Mameli needs to chill out on the vocals, they sound forced. Marco Foddis WAS Pestilence for me; his drums and lyrics on this album are some of the best in progressive metal.
I'm sure some of you will want to cyber lynch me for saying this, but I think "Malleus Malleficarum" is Pestilence's best album, but I still thoroughly enjoy "Spheres."
the new drums on mind reflections are terrible, the new drummer should just play it the way it was on the record, now it just sounds like a dance song.
I like all of their work, its still them if it was someone else it woulnt be pestilence.I like spheres for the raw intensity but testimony is my favorite for technicality both insanely great I like tony choy on bass I saw these guys back in 91 in miami, they were good but that night dark angel ruled the set of 6 bands.
When I saw it live I cried! Spheres is the best album of all times!! I just miss the guitar synths however, but from what I know they never implied'em on stage.
Minutes Ago I was thinking that part of the problem with this album is that Patrick never felt proud of it.
I know that Must metalhead don't like this album, but who cares, after all Metal fans from time to time are just a bunch of wannabe, so music they're don't understand tend to be cataloged as crap.

Oh, shut the fuck up, both are great, but in all honesty, they are too different to be compared. I prefer Testimony though.
