Q-Zar equipment is hard to come by these days since Corporate went out of business back in the 90's. But it's possible to play at home, as long as you have an Energizer. Upkeep of the packs can be a bit difficult, unless you know what your doing. I work at a Q-Zar and do tech work for em, and it's not easy.

I need to get a sensor like the ones on the laser tag systems, but I need the one that changes LED depending on the colour of the laser. Any ideas?

There is a guy selling qzar stuff and he even has a tv remote that can activate the vests. just google "Q-Zar Equipment from SD-Link".
