Those baby komodo dragons were probably the most adorable reptilians I have ever seen. Speaking of which, that scene where the guy petted the adult dragon's head was just a moment of heartwarming, I mean I didn't even know Komodo Dragons were capable of enjoying such a simple act.

A recent report has revealed that these lizards have venomous glands along their jaw line behind the teeth. It was previously held that a bacteria laden mouth rapidly infected the bite wounds thus causing death. So this species can now join the ranks of poisonous repitle with the Beaded Lizard and the Gila Monster. Are the babies all ready born with the lethal poison ? I guess somebody will fined out the hard way. Just handling these youngsters, sooner or later its bound to happen.

Casper looks pretty small, can't be more than a couple years old, probably in it's adolecense. Full grown dragons can grow as large as 10 feet long, which is much bigger than a human. I can't imagine that any zoos keep decade old dragons in captivity though.

The reason Komodo Dragon bites are so dangerous is because they have over 50 strands of different bacteria in their saliva. They have no venom.

@JessesVideoz To actually ANSWER your question, no I don't think that's much of a possibility. The danger, as has been stated before, comes from the Dragon's bacteria. Said bacteria generally comes about due to a dragon's rather poor eating habits. They indulge in scavenging their food from corpses.
