  • just so u know the ventures didnt write telstar. it was a band called the tonados...a early british rock band from 1962. the ventures did a cover of it

  • @xlrious1 also..the guitarist from the the tornados..his son was/is in MUSE..you can hear in the lead rifts they "borrowed" some notes

  • Wow, your playing is as close to the originals as I have heard and I am impressed. I have always wanted to learn the guitar and with the help of my 12 yr old son am on the way. Any chance you could e-mail your tabs as there is not much around and I would really love to learn your version?     I got interested in music at 11 when he heard Ventures.

    I am 56 years old,Guitar career about 16 years.

    The first is 13 years old. :-)
