@musicalmaryannie It is availabe- but many of the musical numbers have been cut (including the filmstrip Scooter shows) At one time whole movie was on Youtube
@johndoe590: For most the Muppets, it's a two-person job. One controls the head & one hand--most Muppeteers are right-handed, so the Muppets are left-handed--while the other hand & torso are controlled by another Muppeteer. For example, both Steve Whitmire & Karen Prell (aka Wembley & Red of the Fraggles) work together to perform Sprocket.
You would think that with that many puppets that you would find some without moving mouths for puppeteers feet - but then again, strings might be able to accomplish that.

The original movie is on VHS, I have not seen it on dvd so I transferred it to dvd using my computer.

@johndoe590 yes, there is a puppeteer who controls the head/facial expressions, and another who operates the hands :)
