You all says that his lyrics are beatiful, so, could You translate something into English? I enjoy Kojo's music too, but I'm from far-away-Poland and don't understand anything... God bless Ghana!
I don't understand every single thing so i can't write it word for word but basically he's saying that he gave a girl all these things like roses and diamonds and the girl won't accept so he's asking her that if he's done anything bad, she should please tell him. I love this song.
Str8Lion, totally true. The new generation of Ghanaian musicians is simply too superficial: just copying American rappers. There is nothing wrong in blending external influences into one's music but copying 1-1? No way. Of course there are the exceptions but they remain exceptions and not the rule. Listen to Dobet Gnahoré from IC, for example. I don't think there is any Ghanaian musician in her age (24) as versatile as her.
I love this song, it's relaxing and soothing to the soul. <3
