  • Unbelieveable. In their prime. PUT ANOTHER ALBUM OUT.

  • This album is a classic. Great to see the guys live.

  • I thought it was Kenny Wayne Shepard and Johnny Lang together, I swear..

  • @LittlewingKD

    Kenny has nothing on DOYLE

  • TOMMY SHANNON!

  • Love this song. I'm from Toronto. Real men don't come from Canada, Oklahoma, Boston or Hollywood. They come from Texas.

  • @alessandrosgirl You mean....awesome musicians...are real men.

  • Paul Schaffer on the B3 is also a nice touch.

  • I'm glad Doyle kicked the heroin.

  • If it wasn't for Charlie Sexton, Arc Angels wouldn't be crap!!!! Doyle ain't diddly live. He might find 6 minutes of good tape in the studio, but he ain't sh*t live !!!.... ALL HAIL Charlie Sexton !! :-D

  • @ECwine ur full of shit. obvious you haven't heard them.

  • @ECwine ur full of crap dumbass

  • @ECwine check out all of doyles solo albums they are as good as the arc angels

  • The tone, the phrasing, the rhythm, the soul fire in Doyle's solo is Godlike

  • NEW album being worked on!

  • Why the shades Doyle? It was a demon called Cocaine that still had him by the balls at this point. I saw one of the four farewell concerts they gave at the Backyard in Austin I believe in '94 or '95, Doyle had just got out of rehab and sounded better than ever before, it was bittersweet because he had come so far beating the demon, but it was too late for the Angels. Anyone have anything to add or correct me on? Feel free. Just an old Austin music lover....

  • great!

  • ONE BAD ASS BAND! I LOVE ARC ANGELS! They should have been HUGE! One of my fav and most listed to cds eventhough it's from 1992 They ROCK!!!!!

  • Suave herion addict blues man. I find him attractive. Yeah I am so cold motherf88ker!

  • H is bad

  • Bramhalls voice is smooth and powerful, Sexton's slightly gravelly but totally cool, and bluesy. Who wouldn't want one of these guys singin for them. No one, except the tone deaf. Play off and complement each other almost like no other. My two bits on the voices. Inventiontensions comments still hilarious and apt.

  • Damn!

  • really hot !

  • I like this video because unlike their other videos...Arc Angels has the rythmn section playing with them this set... adreambeach loves Arc Angels because they're soooo smokin HOT!!

  • recorded way back when before they started getting all spun out on drugs.

  • One of my all time favorite albums/cd's!! So sad they never continued on. I think I read Doyle had drug issues back then. Lately you can see him backing up Clapton on his Crossroads gigs. Doyle also kicks ass on the Roger Waters DVD somebody already mentioned on here.

  • @mattsplatt Sure was a killer album, and like you, i wish they would do more together......

  • poser Doyle, you better switch to decaf...

  • Charlie Sexton's voice is NOT smooth. It's a nice voice but smooth it ain't. Sure you know which guy is which? Doyle's voice is AMAZING!

  • what\ever happened to them?

  • DB2 guitar is strung with low E on the bottom. just like Albert King.

  • They're both about 24 years old on this clip. DB2 has an absolutely killer voice.

  • Holy shit. I remember buying this tape the day or day after it came out. Man, these guys were all over it on this performance. Powerful live band.

  • Need a time machine to go back,

The coolest band to seen live

  • I remember this show....stayed up to watch it and record it on VHS....as they went to commercial, Paul's band started playing Wind Cries Mary and Charlie Sexton started playing along with them.

  • frickin great!

  • now that's a tight band ! yeah

  • i get how it happens but i sure wish lettermans band schmoozers would stay off the stage w/ guest bands.

  • Notice hes wearing Stevie Ray Vaughans Identicle turquoise neclace... Texas Baby!!

  • more than likely it was "uncle Stevie's". He used to give Doyle tons of shit cause he grew up living with em.

  • best live jam ever...omni-new daisy, Beale Street, memphis, 1993. thanks MIKE SEDATED for the post. what happened to "Good Time" from letterman? somebody please post that one again!

  • So?

  • Holy shit, that sounded killer! Vocals, solo, the whole band tight but so relaxed and loose.

  • talent lost behind grunge and hair. saw them in 92. shoud've been bigger. they're still doing what they love I

  • doyle is such a showman in his earlier days huh!!!!! now he's like a catatonic 84 years bluesman live IMHO LOL

  • Doyle is no longer catatonic. Search "Roger Waters - Comfortably Numb LIVE" and see him these days. Also, "Before the Music Dies", a movie anyone who enjoys music should watch, is on Hulu for free and has some interviews and performances by Doyle.

  • that's one of my favourite guitar solos of all time :) so hendrixy yet it's his own style too

  • saw these guys live before clapton at the albert hall a few weeks ago

  • I'm from England. First heard this on a beach in Santorini, Greece. Bought the CD on return. Can anyone explain why there seems to so much venom attached to this?

  • with great talent comes great turmoil. some of the most fantastic music and talent I have ever heard. I cross my fingers and say a prayer that there will be more from them.

  • well said.

  • what do you mean venom?, all I know is that a month ago these guys rocked the albert hall

  • Does anyone know why Tommy Shannon isn't participating in the reunion?

  • Don't suppose anyone could tell me when this performance was done?

  • circa 1989 or so. perhaps sooner.

  • 1992-93. Their only album came out in 1992.

  • Watching this makes me miss living in Austin...(back in the day)

  • great band, to bad all the big ego's got in the way of making good rock n roll blues...Stevie Ray would be ashamed of you...

  • Haven't you gone away? Go F yourself in a tiny closet lined with spiders and scorpions. Uh....then I might be satisified after you've been bitten and stung to death : )

  • Charlie Sexton voice is so damn smooth it it's the only material allowed to clean ferrari's at the factory near Maranello Italy.

  • @inventiontension Doyle's seems way smoother to me. Charlie's is all gritty and choppy...

  • I LOVE this CD and I don't understand why the never "took off" the CD was amazing-great rocking tunes!

  • can anyone say "kenny wayne shepherd, blue on black"? jesus, kenny did well to rip this one off...blue on black sounds like a bad company b side.

  • I agree. When I first heard Blue on Black I thought it was the Arc Angels.

  • Kenny Wayne is a rip off artist in general

  • OUTSTANDING!!!!

  • mouth watering charlie

  • Hi, Mike. Thanx for share this post with the real Arc Angels and DBII fans. Great band, great tunes... This CD is one of my favorites ... And Doyle is dazzling in the vocals and playing guitar ... I can not stop listen them!I love it!!!Keep the faith!!! Luv & respect from Brazil...
