...What I meant was , Pickett did a dead - on impersonation of Karloff on the "Monster Mash" single and LP. He does'nt sound much like him here (And I've seen a LOT of Karloff's films , trust me.) , but , it's all in the spirit of fun. Bobby Pickett , Richard Tepp , RIP.

About Karloff- Karloff was in over 400 films, a different character in most. Maybe you saw a different film.

The Monster Mash started as art imitating life. Theme costume parties were often about monsters or ghosts or
vampires or the undead. Especially public parties in big arenas that were advertised.
