I feel your pain. I have a mac, and nothing like vocaloid or MMD will work, caus eit doesnt support .exe files. you could try and emulator called crossover, but im not 100% sure that it will work (it costs 50 bucks but you can get via bittorrent or Vuze.) Darwine is prettymuch useless for anything, as my mac just bailed out on itself and the screen went black :(

This was most likely made with MikuMikuDance, a program with a built in model of Hatsune Miku made for videos. It costs a bunch of money and is rumored to be hard to use.

Actually Miku Miku Dance is a free download program. it is hard to use. I've downloaded it. it doesn't come with with this model. I'm not sure if there's a place for you to download it but it was made by an independent user. Some videos are made by 3D digital designers such as Tripshots.

I should probably mention that the program was made with and for Windows XP so if you're using Vista you're probably not going to have a good performance.

That really stinks. I wish I would make a better program...I run Vista. Do you have to get the model of Miku seperatly, because it doesn't come with the program?

notheres two versions of the program i've tried. the first one only has Miku as a model and you can't put multiple Mikus.

the second version of the program is called the multi model edition where you can put multiple Mikus along with other vocaloids such as Rin and Len. you are able to download other character models from an outside source although i don't know where(on account of using Vista).

haha upgrade to XP like I did. everything runs smooth now. and his was most probably not made with MMD. I have it and it's easy to use (hard being Maya and normal being Blender) but it's not perfect. also, the translated version is not as good as the original, japanese version.
