This game is crazy like hell :)))

I had played many F1 games...from F1 cha. to Rfactor ect.

But this you can't even compare to the others....its soo great...very realistic driving...so smooth....great visuals....you can drive arcade....or sim....depends of what do you want...

Yes theres a lot's of room for improvements .... but this game in generaly is perfect

@schpongled to be fair Dirt 2 didn't have 40 cars on track with weather, fuel weight and other bit's'n bobs. Alas with the additional processing something is always going to give and taking that into account they're solid enough, though obviously there will be improvements for 2011.

@TeamVVV Fair point. It's not just the graphics, I'm certainly not a snob in that regard, rather the whole experience of the game has failed to grab me as yet... I guess it's meant to be a more focused and in-depth experience than more arcadey games such as Dirt2 and will need sticking with to get the most out of it..

What i want to know is how good the effect are when you crash.When you crash,is the damage how it suppose to be with wheels flying around so you can crash out of the race with a big BANG ?

Besides that the forcefeedback effects worry me a little bit,i don't see and hear your steeringwheel bouncing around when you hit the kerbs.Can you tell me what's your experience ?2 more days and than it's playtime in the Neterlands...cain't wait !

@MetAlParA They are still banned, but they have not had enough time to correct that because they have worked on the cars since the start at the season and modeled the cars based on how they did look back then. I hope they will change that with an update of some sort.

Usually one car stands out as the "best" and was wondering if you have encountered big differences in terms of performance with the cars ie Renault vs. Red Bull.

The big question for me: is it quicker with a wheel or a controller? Since i much prefer Logitech wheels this affects which version i will buy next week.

Also if you dont mind me asking, are you using a slight bit of deadzone? It seems your tiny movements on the wheel arnt doing much or at least thats how it comes across from watching the vid. I take it that can be turned off completely?

Also, is there a way to adjust wheel sensetivity within the game?

@Stune5 Hmm I can't say if pad or wheel will be quicker but the wheel is a lot smoother to drive with.

The next video should be up within the hour and look at dead zone and wheel settings. :)

With practice, the wheel will always result in better lap times in most racing titles. This is due to the greater precision available due to the larger mechanical range of a wheel, and a wider range of values reported by the device. Typically a controller reports +/- 125 lock to lock, while a decent wheel will be as much as +/- 16383 lock to lock, it should be a no brainer working out which allows finer control.

i believe this game needs an expert and a lot of experience if ur trying to get the best of it and put in ur mind the controlling system

i am using an xbox360 controller and playing a simulation called rfactor made up by redbull and from what i saw i could say that f1 2010 is a thousand times easier

the other game if ur trying to drive on the apex with perfect speed to spin perfectly u can easily spin out, lose controlling of the car and drive in wrong way while ur not knowing that actually

@BoOomEgy rfactor is made for the wheel, but standard driving practice would be brake early and keep a low but consistent power in the apex before opening up on the straight, otherwise you'll spin out every time. Right I'm off to record some more :)

Are you playing with ABS on? Becouse i belive you braking into some corners while understeering, so inner front wheel should get locked.

So I'm avoiding it till I find or program the button ;) but it's another cool feature!

@M4ngim4ru yeah if you're smooth it looks easy but I'm tipy toeing round, there;s a lot more speed there, getting into the apexs earlier and getting on the power sooner.But then more aggression on the power is a fine line between more speed and spinning out and a lot of people will probably be surprised just how easy it is to spin out.
