I just started to learn korean like 2 days ago.. it's sooooooooooooooo hard. this is killing me.. but I wanna learn so I can watch korean drama without reading or waiting for the substitute to come out....... urrgggg gotta keep it up!!!
Wow - this is very cool, 혜영! I just found out you have this YouTube channel. I'll get Nancy to watch this; it will help her a lot. She has a hard time listening to me! LOL
As a linguistics student, I find this video very helpful. Can you please show me the IPA symbols of lax, tense and spirated consonants of Korean. Thank You!
Yes, thank you for making this video. I'm trying to learn Korean by myself online and these kinds of videos help very much. Keep doing what you are doing. :)
Hello..so much impresive about your teaching. I am learning Korean now and will have [TOPIK] beginners level test Sep 07. I study korean my own and have no reality teachers to help my poor composition. Would you be kind enough to find any Korean websites where post any elementary students' good compostition for help? I am trying to dig for so long but fail. I got no way to go and find youtube might help. Thanks, for your kindness. Thanks again for youtube!! casper
Thanks for making this video. Yes, these are very hard to make. The mouth feels weird when practicing the tensed sounds, hehe. What's even more difficult is listening for these. I can clearly distinguish them from your video but unfortunately I don't notice these differences when watching television.
I can actually hear a slight difference, enough difference to tell them apart, but I can't pronounce them!!!!, any advice..?

고마워요! Very helpful! I can hear the difference, but now your explanation of tensing the muscles helps my pronunciation! Excellent video!

that was great, it would be good if you could hold up the character you are pronouncing too for those of us still learning to read. Cheers

I made a big mistake in the beginning. I said 'vowels' instead of 'consonants'
Sorry. ^^

I see.
I think the more vocabulary you have, the less problem you will have with these consonants.
