  • hey man i like your work, but i got a little question... what kind of paint do you use?

    thanks

  • There is nothing wrong with using a stencil. In the real world, isn't it time that matters. Yes free-hand is nice, but when you are doing a job that has a time delay, use what tools you have at your disposal. As far as negative comments and Americans being the next nazi's... dude, you need to get a life.

  • @pkseeley nope I really dont need a life. clearly i have one. I've had several negative run ins and bad dealings all with americans one for instant screwed me out of 350$, I've also shipped things internationally and sent it signature needed and then had them email me saying they didnt get it after the SIGNED for it!.

nazi or not i've just had several bad experiences with americans. you may be a good person i'm just judging you at all just those who have f**ed me over!

  • dude your awsome do u think i could make stencils and use them for cars to ?

  • @SuperJPLR 100% for sure i have used stencils to paint cars plenty of times, thanks for the question sorry for the late reply been busy!

  • American, Canadian or a refugee its all good. If you have a problem with what he is doing shut your computer off. apparently @cantfindnameXD is still learning himself or he wouldn't be looking at beginner videos.keep up the good work my Canadian friend and remember sometimes the student is the teacher....

  • @tommyjoeshananaquet oops sometimes my mind out races my typing. @cantfindnameXD i apologize for the type-o- @GHOULDY was whom i was referring to in this comment. Again i apologize....

  • sucks

  • im just getting into airbrushing what do you need and what is a good cheap airbrush and BTW you rock you are really good at at free hand or what ever it is called

  • I'm finding your videos REALLY helpful. Thanks a lot for doing these :D

  • Thanks for the advice. Your videos have been quite instructive. I think it's helped make up my mind that I will make the jump and invest in some equipment. Please don't take this as patronising. But, I am very impressed that you were only eighteen when you made these videos. Well done.

  • @garywall19 well i'm 23 now and still painting check in for the new stuff soon i've been editing videos for a week now getting them ready for posting hope they are to a new and higher standard!

  • this has helped me alot bro! thanx!!

  • Well I didn't mind the lesson gives me some ideas insted of hand cutting the stencil out.

  • hey men, your airbrush is a single action one? hope you help me

  • Good job :) it really helped me.. i want to start like a hobby but don't want to spend much money on spray gun and stuff.. would i manage to spraypaint good with a begginner gun or would it be not so pleasent ? thank you for your vid

  • thats alot u actully cleared up loads for me i just wasnt getting from other tutorials and belive me ive watched alot so thaks alot and keep up the awsome work :)

  • Why hate?...Fags

  • HELLO EVERYONE IM STARTING A AIRBRUSH SHOW ON YOUTUBE FOR FREE. ILL SHARE SECRETS OF HOW TO MAKE YOUR AIRBRUSH PAINT. AND HOW TO DO PORTRAITS. AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN. COMING OCTOBER 1st. :) :)

  • you dont like his voice dont watch

  • @GHOULDY are you really going to try and act like you teach? you have no videos and no proof you even paint. i was maybe 18 when i made this video and it has helped 1000's of people. legitimize yourself as a painter then talk smack.

  • @cantfindnameXD Are you kidding dude you spray at a reception level =') im going to make a video right now and show you how to HAND DRAW stencils anyone can fucking photoshop no real hand skills son you americans so dependent on technology =') the next nazi's.

  • @GHOULDY firstly your dumb enough to say I'm American when it clearly says CANADIAN on my page tool.

Still waiting for your video by the way poser boy. your age is demonstrated largely upon the way you carry a conversation let alone over the internet. Until we see you paint you have no credit with us artist. stop posing and prove it.

  • @cantfindnameXD sorry bruh but Canada is in America lol

  • @rdiaz228 actually it's technically not, there is a nice bridge leading from each end of our countries. if you have a boat and a gps ( a good one) it shows the line of where american water starts and where canadian water starts just because america likes to call us north america doesn't mean that we are a part of the u.s

sure as shit obama cant tell us what to do, he can make threats but we as a country decide for ourselves.

  • @GHOULDY you're a hateful prick.. grow up.. to @cantfindnameXD.. I really appreciate the tutorial. Love the stencils and fuck these haters

  • @GHOULDY Sounds like you have a teeny weeny :(

  • your voice ruined all of this

  • @GHOULDY this video is how old now? not to mention it was filmed with a 200$ camera p.o.s. the fact alone that you can demonstrate immaturity just goes to show how immature and negative of a child you are. this video was meant to help people if you don't airbrush why bother watching the video take the information for how it's given and don't comment unless you find it useful or informative. negativity will not be tolerated.

  • @cantfindnameXD Mate LEARN SOME FUCKING ENGLISH GRAMMAR

  • @GHOULDY clearly typing in a caps is good grammar?

  • @GHOULDY First, try adding a comma after "Mate." Then, reduce your usage of Caps Lock. Finally, add a period at the end of your sentence. After you do all of that, you may then proceed to correct someone else on their grammar. You can also continue to look like an idiot. Either way works, but you seem to have the second part of that down already. ;)

  • I can't watch it. This video (Part 2) is stopping at 0:37. What I must do to watch it?

  • thanks for your anwer. One more question: where did you get it and for how much???

  • is this an iwata airbrush??? please answer and did it work well (looks like)???

  • @ltcreations yes it's an iwata hp-ch and it's the best airbrush i own i recommended it to everyone!

  • Did you unscrew the tip of the air brush? I am new to air brushing and was told if you unscrew the tip it will give a very thin line. I also use Acrylic paint.

  • @Ashleyink1990 yes i did, i never spray with it but be careful not to drop the airbrush :)

  • Quick question, i clean the airbrush very thoroughly, the needle is perfect and clean yet paint still sprays out irregularly. i can get a steady flow and keep dead still. yet on a line drawing some times it spurts other times there is nothing.

It is quite a cheap airbrush £51 ($100) could that be the reason?

(i've considered my own abilities with the tool, and have concluded it isn't lack of talent l've done a cartoon portrait of yoda, but airbrush malfunctions haven't helped. )

  • Kay. Thanks!

  • Two questions: Where can you find the plastic sheets? AND, can you use like a plastic wrap or a Ziploc bag as the plastic sheet?

  • @icubby1

question one the answer is in the description rear it

    and question 2 absolutely not

  • @icubby1

question ones answer is in my description read it. both links are there

    question 2 absolutely not

  • so is it mainly ink you use or paint you work with????

  • If you get a small air tank you wont have to listen to your compressor run all the time Nice work

  • @archer82633 small air tanks are bad to have in your house let alone right next to you, i now have a much better compressor so i don't have to listen to anyhting i have a studio grade compressor

  • dude... i just recently started a job as a spray finisher for cabinets.... and they are training me to use an airbrush for picture framing..... which has gotten me interested in what else i might be able to do..... this is cool and like your vid...i am not an artist i would have to use stenciles and masks

  • what the glue name plz?

  • where could you find the paint

  • Another great job, but don't justify stencils. The very best out there use them, as they are just another tool of many. The better you get, the less they look like stencils. I make and use them, and defy anyone to be able to tell. Perhaps you could add an extension to the air hose (turn up the pressure just a bit) and put it in a different room or closet. You can also make a resivoir for next to nothing so the compressor doesn't run all the time. I do that cause I hate the noise. Thanks again.

  • ignorant lol? ......ironic

  • Hi I was wondering if you use createx paint can you reduce it to 5 drops water and 1 drop paint, Im new to airbrushing, also when trying to get intense detail do you need lower psi on compressor or does it matter? It says shoot createx at 45 to 50 but does that include, thanks

  • i have gone as far as 15 drop water to 1 drop paint for really really light tints but that being said it's alot fo water to paint so it takes 150% longer to dry in those surcomstances you must be patient playing with you paint is the only way to find it's limits. the thicker the paint the higher the psi the thinner the lower the psi

so if your going really thin i spray as low as 17 psi somtimes a tad lower.

you have to play with it like i said what works for me might not for you have fun XD

  • stencils rule!!

  • yes indeed they definatly do :) <3

  • Thanks man and you have a great attitude to teach the new people to airbrush. Keep up the good work!

  • your welcome glad you enjoy my outlook on art, i just got a plotter so i'm going to post some new videos soon on how to thin paint and how to use vynal as a stencil :P

thanks for watching and rating XD

  • Is your yearly income good with that kind of job? o.o Because there are different kinds of arts I want to do when I get out of highschool or college. Automotive arts, graphic design, airbrushing, kind of pinstriping but not so much. I just don't know which to choose. Dx Not only that but also including all the different ways that those arts could be used. It's insane. o.o

  • @TvviztidJoker your income really is based on your exposure. at first i was making close to 100$ a week just off friends and people i knew now that i'm out and exposed i sell over the net and to a wider variety of people i make near 40 to 500 a month on shirts alone. mind you it's a side job non taxable.

the custom industry would be the way to go cars and murals for moeny but no one picks up an airbrush and creates godly work... no one, start small and look twards the future best advise.

  • So wait, you think I should go into like customizing designs for cars in a custom industry? A little confused, sorry lol.

  • @TvviztidJoker custom painting definatly has the biggest outcome, jobs may be fewer and farther appart but in the long run you can get up to 5 to 7 grand a paint job or more depending on the job and how good you are shirts your lucky to get 100$ for a top of the line shirt most i ever got for a shirt was 75 but it took me 3 days to do it.

cars and motorcycles are the way to go. but make sure you start small shirts hats and stuff then go to cars.

  • i generally paint between 17 and 21 psi the thinner your paint the lower your psi the thicker your paint the higher the psi.

    somthing to remember.

good luck and if you need anyhting else jsut hit me up.

  • What do you use to protect the paint job you just made on the shirt?

  • that paint doesn't require any protection besides being ironed on after being painted. iif you seek more information jsut ask.

  • Hi, what paint are you using?

Textile-paint or ordinary waterbased Acryl paint?

  • i'm useing createx paints with a thinning ratio of 3 to 1.

if you need anyhting else please contact me again.

  • Could you make a quick tutorial of thinning paint, i also have createx paint and im very new to airbrushing. I havent tried to thin the paint yet, could you show us your method?

  • yes i could i will demo a few different ways in the video so you will have a few ways to go off of the next time i post it will be there.

thanks for watching if you need anyhting else ask away!

  • Thank you very much! I look forward to the video, I also subscribed to see your new videos.

  • Fuck wot people say bout stencils, ur rite they shud keep there comments to themselves! Excellent work and very entertaining, thanks for posting.

  • are you using a single action? it's preety good work for a single

  • its a double for sure. singles are pretty much good for nothing

  • Thanx for sharing. I hope to pick up airbrushing in the near future so i can use all te help i can get. Excellent.

  • When you added paint at 2:04, was that using the 5 drops of water to 1drop of paint color also???

  • yes, at 2:04 i was useing the same paint the entire time. 5-1 ratio. now i have it said for thin line work it's 3-1 for shading and shadowing it's 5-1 for portraits it's 10-1. if you still need more help just ask XD

  • hey i just started airbrushing

i dont get the paint thing.

can i just use paint that i bought on ebay just like that or do i have to add water or something?

  • yes you can use it the way it comes technically it's ready to spray but for certain applications you may wish to use thinner pains as i do for better flow and less tip dry. really testing out mix's and techniques is whats going to make you better so have fun with it and try out new stuff you can only learn from a mistake!

  • alright thanks i added water and it works way better than just like that

    thanks alot

  • Nice! I have no problem with stencils except how do you make them? Are you using transparent masking tape?

  • the link on the side really explains it but it's a thin desk protector they come in a very generous size for only 5 $ it's like a projection sheet but much bigger and i use what looks like a hot soldering iron to cut the plastic. check the links on the side :P

  • dude that soldering iron you used did u buy it with that bent tip at the end?

  • it's actually a stencil burner not a soldering iron much the same but for it's use it's totally different, the link in the sidebar will lead you right to it and yes it does come with the bent tip and one straight tip. It will cut hours off your stencil cutting and cutting corners is much easyer it cuts through the plastic like butter. if you need further explaining please feel free to ask me to elabourate on a certain part to further help you :P thank you for watching and don't forget to rate!

  • only problems i have is doing a translation in dutch to find the right materials to use ;-) most of the things you show ( and others) i watch several times to learn and understand,...just got my first order to make a t-shirt with three letters ( already did the concept for it,..now i must go out and buy me a shirt some where ,..keep you posted ;-))
