i jus wanted to say that i find allison to be VERY BEAUTIFUL!!!! she is a lil cutie pie!!! i would love to see and update video of her!!! sooo glad that she had the courage that she needed to get through all of her treatments!!! GO ALLISON!!!! I AM SOOOO PROUD OF YOU GIRLY!!! who would have thought that a lil 8 year old child (11 now i am sure) could have more courage and strength then most adults!!!!
I have a friend with a son who has Angelman's syndrome which is how I got here. I have never heard of MPS, but watching your daughter speak truly makes my eyes well-up. She is a beautiful girl and the Lord has an amazing plan for you and her. At 3:05 I had to pause the video and remind myself that there is no amount of money that anyone could ever pay me to take that smile off of her face.
@theoandautumn Its also known as hurler syndrome, its genetic and its when your body cant break down the sugars in your system, it affects the organs, lungs, heart, heart and also their appearence is different, as you can see. From what iv researched and heard from people who's been affected by hurler syndrome, the inherited disease will slowly shut down your organs, the sufferer will go blind and deaf and then eventually die, usually before the child is 10.
Still read your message although it was deleted for some reason. I don't know, i think you may be right, she has hunter syndrome but i typed in youtube "hurler syndrome" and her video came up.
I was also just answering his question. MPS I - Hurler syndrome. MPS II - Hunter syndrome. I decided it would be best to write about hurler as that was the one i knew most about but thank you for pointing that out :)
@Mellisa890 I deleted my comment because you were right. I apologize. I listened to the video again and the little girl's sister said it was Hurler's syndrome. The reason I thought it was hunter's syndrome is because she seemed to be seeing just fine and peole with Hurler's have cataracts. I hope you did well on your paper and Hurler's.
you are cool
