How about I tried to "soften"/texturize my hair... and 2007-2008 I was all natural, and now my hair is straight!!!!! ARG!!!! now i have to start allllll over. My hair would've licked so fast because of how thick, and kinky it was, but I wasn't ready to lock. Sad thing.

Yeah, I was mad the instant I sat in her chair because I just felt like everything i worked hard on would be wasted. It was nothing but tugging & pulling. Even though i detangled before going. And she was arguing with other ppl, always on the phone. I took some out in the back and spritzed to loosen them up. So I guess/hope it's fine now.

I went to a salon (for the 1st time in a zillion years) to get braids in january and the lady was combing my hair so badly. when i left the salon, my scalp was on fire. it wasn't expensive cuz it wasn't in the States but for the money that i paid over there, i wasn't happy with the end result. i've been able to braid my hair since i was 13 but just never attempted braids with extensions. but after this experience, no salon is gonna see my behind anymore. imma do it myself, w/ or w/o extensions.
