@MrDic1970 I have great respect for Steptoe and Son but the viewers voted Only Fools and Horses as number 1. I do not believe Only Fools and Horses copied Steptoe and son and I tell you why. John Sullivan the writer of this sitcom had a working class family. He was inspired by his family jokes, John's dad and his uncle's used to work in a market selling goods. That's how Only Fools and Horses was inspired due to John's background not copyright. Its a true fact!
2:41 - Drinking tea from the saucer, Alf Garnett did that in the sitcom In sickness and in health. Not sure if it makes the tea taste better though. Maybe it might make it cool quicker.
Quite a weird scene in the cafe, its as if Del had completely forgotten about their conversation in just the previous scene, Del already knows that Rodney was chatting up the WPC. Little bit of bad writing there I think. Good episode otherwise though.
@19GirlBad your wrong..becos steptoe and son is and always will be the BBC's No'1 and only fools stories were copied from a great show like steptoe. sorry to burst your bubble but a true fact.
I love Del's attempts at pronouncing the names of famous brands of watches!

I've just noticed a mistake -
In the very first seconds of the opening scene, Lennard Pearce (Granddad) can be seen waiting for his cue to start.
