Considering Comet Hale Bopp 'didn't exist' according to that loser Nancy Lieder, it sure was breathtaking. Very nice montage. Personally I've seen four comets; Hale Bopp, Hyakutake, Holmes and another I can't remember the name of. All of them were naked eye, and all of them were stunning

comet mcnaught was the most impressive comet i seen in my lifetime unfortunately it was only visible in the sthn hemisphere so it didnt make the headlines as much as it should have. u could clearly c it with the naked eye check out videos if interested

I dont remember if this was the comet I saw, because right after this one was the hyakutake comet. I was a kid back then, but I remember my family coming outside the house one night in Ukraine, to look up at the sky...and I saw an amazing sight, this long tail against a backdrop of stars.

Wonderful memory.
