  • omg thank you.

  • thanks

  • Well here I have a fraction that I have to put into it's simplest form and its 15/20 and I don't know how to do it :(

  • @PokeCatchor

What number can you divide both 15 and 20 by? The key is finding a number that you can divide both the numerator and denominator evenly by. When there are no numbers you can divide by the fraction is in simplest form.

I hope that helps! Keep working at it! :-)

  • @justinbieber18083

What part is giving you trouble?

  • make a vid that tells us how to subtract fractions into simplest form

  • @nerffilms57

Check out my "Adding and Subtracting Fractions and Mixed Numbers" video. I think it'll help! :-)

  • Well i figured this out. Like a boss!

  • who the F**** invented math!!

  • @khusankurbanov

It was actually developed over a long period of time, not invented.

Search for "history of math" on Wikipedia for more details! :-)

  • @khusankurbanov Einsten :D

  • Why go to school when you can learn math on youtube :D

  • So you can just pick a random number for the thing you divide By?

  • @themalvasikids

It not really random. You can divide by any number that will divide evenly into the numerator and denominator. :-)

  • So you can just pick a random number?

  • thnks man it was very helpful, thnks for spending ur own time and preparing this usful video for us, i think tht is just a fantastic thing to do. • thank you

  • Help Please what is the simpliest form of 72/90

  • @holdentem

We can divide on the top and bottom by 18 to get 4/5.

There is nothing else that we can divide 4 and 5 by, so our fraction is in simplest form.

  • @mbrandl11 Thank you

  • hey man thanks ur a great help.

  • Could you help me to answer this question? Fill in the blank question: "To write a fraction in the simplest form, divide it's numerator and denominator by the ______ ______ they both have." This is my son's math question and I can't explaine it to him. Thank you, I appreciate it.

  • @BadRadicalZO6

I believe the answer would be "greatest factor". In other words, the biggest number that both can be divided by.

    I hope that helps! :-)

  • @mbrandl11 Thanks alot it did help.

  • awesome !!!! ur helping me out soooo much!!! you explain this sooo much better then my math teacher!!!!!

  • thank you.

  • thans

  • i need help on the problem 60/72? can ya help

  • We look to see what number we can evenly divide 60 and 72 by.

    2, 3, 4, 6, and 12 all work.

12 is the largest, so we'll divide by 12 on the top and bottom of the fraction.

    60/12 = 5

    72/12 = 6

So our simplfied fraction would be: 5/6

    I hope that helps! :-)

  • Thank you for helping my 4th grader (and refreshing my memory) lol

  • what tool are you using for recording the vid. please tell me

  • I use a free program called Cam Studio. I'd highly recommend it!

  • thnx i needed help with my hw:) ty

  • thanks this really help

  • wat about 0.25X10(2 THE POWER OF 5)i need reply fast

  • 0.25 x 10^5

I'm assuming you need that in standard form. To make the conversion, we just move the decimal point five places (the power of 10) to the right.

    So we get: 25000.

    I hope that helps!

  • thanks it really helped

  • i'm in 5th grade too but i can't really understand.

    thnx any way

    :)

  • same im in 5th grade and im ticked off

  • thanks for the info

  • Yo im in sec 1 and we just had a xmas break and i totally forgot how to do this and thanks to u i remember how to do it now..

    Full Props (Y) L8r

  • Hello, How do I get 0.4776= 4776 over 10,000 in simplest form, with steps please!

  • When you have 4776/10000 you can divide by 8 on the top and bottom of the fraction to get 597/1250. There is no number that we can divide both 597 and 1250 by so our fraction is in simplest form!

  • thank you very very much...i kept answering this question wrong & couldn't understand why...i was thinking that there could be any answer because i kept dividing by different #'s including 8 but I didn't know which answer to choose. I didn't know that what the way to view it.(which you have mentioned) now when i have a test I can remember that rule.

    Thank you again.

  • can you help me im doing 1/p+2/(p+5) thx

  • Can you double-check the problem? Is it a fraction over a fraction?

  • im sorry but im only in 5th grade and i didnt get it at all but nice try :D

  • same im ticked and failing math
