@Heidi5353 - Yeah, training barefoot allows for natural foot movement and better connection to the ground. If don't train where you can go barefoot then using a minimalist shoe like Nike Frees or Converse All Stars will work instead.
Very interesting. That was the technique I used in the 80's as we pioneered the riding around Durango. And I have always wondered if we weren't on to something. I have always felt that spinning circles just didn't make sense on dirt where we need explosive power.
I notice you're often (if not always) barefoot in your videos - is that also a training recommendation?
