I beat Shinobu on my first try on Sweet, same on Mild, and same on Bitter, but only because i spammed the low charge attack with Tsubaki Mk. III on Bitter.

I did beat Shinobu on my first go, but with one little unit of HP left. (I couldn't have picked a better time to remember the evade move.)

Shinobu is actually one of the easiest bosses if you simply run away after she stops being stunned X_X:;

That I kept on doing. But sometimes I recharge my beam kitana and she does one of her moves. Though I knew what to do around the fifth time, and three times later, I finally beat her.
