  • Ever since I was a little kid learning numbers, letters, etc., I always associated them with a different personality. For example, the letter K was a quiet female and a pushover, always bossed around by J. L, the gentleman that he was, protected K from J and respected K. Lol, I just thought everyone thought that. Anyway, thanks for the vid!

  • @MsChihuahua9700 That's so interesting, I feel like that is a concept that I can't grasp with my own synesthesia but I bet the girl that I knew would be able to have great conversations with you about that 8D!

  • @MsChihuahua9700 Oh wow, I'm exactly the same, haha! I mean, the personalities for me are a little different - J and K are both 9 year old children, and they play together watched over by their Mum, M, and aunt, N. How interesting! :D

  • at least you aren't blind and don't lick everything to see :F

  • @link987654321 I WISH I WAS THAT'D BE SO BADASS seriously I'd love to taste words

  • Thanks for the upload! It's really interesting :)

  • @LanguageNerd09 No problem :D I'm glad you found it interesting!

  • So I'm curious... People have colors they like and don't like as well right?.. So if a color (s) you don't like as much are automatically associated with a letter.. do you end up not liking or get a weird feeling about a certain written name or any kind of other writing? Also, what color is my name: "Janelle" This is so fascinating!

  • @forgottenmemories21 Yes that's true! There are words that I dislike because the colours are gross, generally I hate brown, orange and yellow cause...they're just gross colours haha so like words with T and H are orange-y and I don't like them. but then it goes the other way, words like poison for example...in games and stuff poison is always represented by purple goo or mist, and P is purple so it makes the word seem nicer to me cause it matches!

  • @forgottenmemories21 Janelle hm...its like a caramel apple! J gets cancelled out idk, a=red, n=browny, e=green l=n/a and then another green :D

  • thats really interesting.

  • @kaichrono Glad you think so :D thanks for the comment!

  • Yaaay shoutout! Haha. I've always thought that Synesthesia was such an interesting thing. Still can't believe you have it!

There's this girl on Deviantart who also has Synesthesia and she sees colour/imagery when she listens to music. Some of her paintings are based on what she sees, it's really amazing. I guess that would be an example of a very strong case of Synesthesia.

  • @EmpathyFilms neither can I! It's a strange thing LMAO oo i'll check that out, thanks gurl ;D

  • ah! someone was telling me about a month ago about this math genius who associated numbers with colors and sounds, and i guess he holds the record for reciting so many digits of pi during a certain amount of time. :o

sorry my info is so vague, someone just told it to me during a short convo xD

but thank you for sharing this with us! it's really interesting, hearing more about it^^

  • @obsessedfobfan92 oh yeah I swear I've seen something like that before! It was different though i think, I saw a documentary about a guy with autism that associated numbers with voids in shapes that he saw and could do math super quickly because of it. so crazy! And no problem! I'm glad you found it interesting!

  • this was really interesting! i had never heard of synestesia! :)

  • @cuppiedude20 you learn something new every day right 8D

  • Does it affect the colouring of Japanese characters for you? :)

  • @LunaXenoLovegood It's starting to! My mind is so familiar with the roman characters that the romaji of hiragana and stuff is still what i see, but I've noticed lately that the characters are taking their own colours, I just have to disconnect myself further from the romaji!
