Wow, imagine how messy that first punch where he knocked DS the room would have been if DS were an ordinary man. EW! To think the original version of Sman was that violent on a regular basis, albeit not near as powerful as today, he pounded wife beaters through, got into slug fests with lynch mobs, and it showed him throwing and punching bad guys with all his might off the comic pages, indicating that yes he did kill them, but never exlicitly showing it, before the CCA fascists came along later.
"What we have here is a rare oportunity for me to cut loose and show you just how powerfull I realy am" Damn he backed up that speech really well with that punch.
Actually I think its people who should stop watching DBZ and all its crap pointeless stories. As if you need to destroy the multiverse every time to get peoples attention and some sense of awe... kids these days if they don't get the regular 2 megatons explosive every 10 min in any show/movie they fall asleep. *Sight*
DBZ is mind numbing to watch. The story progression, like most all Anime, slow and plodding. What they needed from DBZ in this episode is the intensity of the fight sequences.
It needed to be a rapid-fire, no-holds-barred, ass-kicking.
This whole "fight" was Superman's, and the series', last hurrah, and it was boring to watch. Most of it was just Darkcide (sp) flying through the air bashing through buildings.
It was, and still is, a disappointment from the team that made the series.
most of anime and cartoons has to be this way to an extent, they call it "filler", to make people watch something that doesn't cost alot of money to produce, then save the money for the big bang fight scene at the climax
As a JLU fan that was the greatest punch of all the season's. Never really watched Dragonball, but that was the greatest cartoon punch I've ever seen. As soon as I seen the episode I was telling people about it. I'm glad so many other people liked it.
Superman's been around for 70 years now, Way before DBZ, but yor right, he don't get to much time to do the whole 'Kung Fu, you though 10 buildings' thing....
THANK YOU!!!! I LOVE THIS CLIP! Shite man, wow, cannot believe how cool is it. Go JLU team! Go George Newman! Why did they have to quit? Why God, WHY?!?
Ladies and Gentlemen: THAT is the REAL STEEL DEAL it has been a long time since anyone gave the man of steel the credit he was really due on this show. Way to go derek on the clip

That is just not impressive. They needed to watch more DBZ before making that episode.
