SNSD is better but somehow AS won. Well this is just entertainment. Kahi dance is good but still prefer SNSD because each of them dance so it make it more SNSD while Kahi seem to be more in the spotlight than her members.
@GaoX09 Yuri had swine flu at the time so Seohyun subbed for her which was why you mostly saw her at the back since she didn't have enough time to practice.
hyoyeon and kahi are amazing dancers. i love snsd and afterschool both :) but i have to give it to afterschool on this one. they had a better presentation and everyone danced well, whereas snsd only used their dancers and seoyeon and seoyeon didnt really do much
@cheekobunny Well I think you know already but Yuri was supposed to dance instead of Seohyun, but unfortunately Yuri got sick and Seohyun just had a day (or maybe two, I don't know) to pratice.
@theperfectexceeder i don't think we can call them SNSD because they aren't complete. they only put their best dancers on the spot, whereas in AS, all members were there. don't get me wrong, i love both groups. but the only way to fairly judge this is for all members of both groups to dance.

i don't know if you know anything about competitive dance, but it's not required nor common that competing teams have equal members. even if you take the 4 best dancers out of AS (which isn't jooyeon and jungah, btw), they still don't even come close to hyoyeon, yuri, sooyoung and yoona.

SNSD on the other hand, eliminated that probability by not including their weakest dancers.

When it comes to being professional and getting to the point SNSD wins. But when it comes to making a hyper and peppy atmosphere After School wins. So they both win :D

Unfortunately though, their dance does pale in comparison to AS's dance this time. The school theme was really smart and effective in making it more entertaining.
@Rooffoo SNSD rely more on the difficulty of the dance moves and I think they aren't creative enough to pull a performance. Imagine them scoring 36pts on this performance... while AS got 64pts is really a big difference.

That group of SNSD won. Their moves were very sharp and intricate. After School was good but I really was in WOW when I saw them, but also comical I loved the last part. LOL

Don't be hatin' on Hyoyeon. Popping is one of the hardest dance techniques, and it requires a great control of the muscles. Hyoyeon could pop & lock like a pro since she was 12 or 13. If you can't appreciate this style, it's fine. Everyone has different tastes.

@ASIANESS100 if the mechanics includes the votes of the fans and I'm sure it has.. no doubt they will win 1st place. How about here? purely on judges criteria - this is different, but if they put a fan voting system AS will definitely lose.. Well everything is now base on fans not only in korea, So i know what you mean.. like I said SNSD has a huge fan base.

@ASIANESS100 And kahi has way more experience in dancing than any of the SNSD members - that is a fact. Why SNSD keeps on winning coz of the number of fans, I would say really SNSD and AS have different themes, SNSD rely more on cuteness, mild songs... while you know AS was known to be the Pussycat Dolls of Korea. I just started the fight coz a lot of SNSD thinks Hyoyeon is the best that's all - and can't accept the fact she isn't

AS isnt the pussycat dolls of KOREA..... i would mostly say that it would be kahi and uee.. the other members doesnt have it... PEOPLE have there own opinionsabout hyoyeon and kahi

the dancing for the other mebmers I would say it's true.. but as a group, yes because of Kahi as their leader, that's her role and responsibility.
But overall, maturity, sexiness SNSD doesn't have the chance. (i'm off) there's no point of arguing when the video says it all

watching SNSD's dance once is enough... they're really good on solo's but their performance really bores me, what's the use of popping/locking if it's boring?. Let's just respect the judges decision.. if you guys disagree, why won't you be the judge?

That group of SNSD won. Their moves were very sharp and intricate. After School was good but I really was in WOW when I saw them, but also comical I loved the last part. LOL

Don't be hatin' on Hyoyeon. Popping is one of the hardest dance techniques, and it requires a great control of the muscles. Hyoyeon could pop & lock like a pro since she was 12 or 13. If you can't appreciate this style, it's fine. Everyone has different tastes.

You need to multiply hyoyeon for snsd to dance like AS here... her talent shines brightly to this kind of music... while the other snsds were just following choreography...individually not as powerful... sorry but AS were better
