yeah, im 19, ive have long qt type 1 since i was like 12. I did go into cardiac arrest, and had a seizure beforehand (word has it). I know you guys were just fooling around, but i am offended by this. It's not a funny this to have nor is going into cardiac arrest snowboarding then having to be in occupational therapy for 9 months because i had to relearn how to walk and hold things in my hands due to lack of oxygen.
I have LQTS but this video really made me laugh, its too funny! And for me thats ok even though lqts is a serious thing. We should also laugh in live, right?
even if it gives no 100%-security for not dieing suddenly - makes it all easier. But you also have to give up lots of things you love(d) to do. This ain't easy - especially for a teenager like me, considering that I am only 16 years old. My ICD will be implanted in three weeks; me feeling scaried, because I do not really know what will happen after that.
@aronsystem same here, im 19, i got my icd a little over a yr ago after i went into cardiac arrest. This was disrespectful, not only the way they went about it but also being ignorant because there are more than 1 type on lqts. I have type 1
I don't think that comments like "cool" or "awesome" do fit in this topic. I have Long-QT myself and this is really not a thing which is cool or something like that. I passed out several times and I can be lucky to be alive. My final diagnosis was only 2 months ago, but especially before this it was not a good time for me, knowing that I could pass out again every single second. After the diagnosis things become easier, because you know what you do have and the threatment - e
im 16 and ive been living with lqts since i was 11..i know your intentions with this were good, but the way you put it was really disrespectful. sorry..

@those who made the video
Basically your intention was really good, but you made the video the wrong way so it seems to be disrespectful - ma
