Hi, thanks for asking - the 6 inch is what I use - have not tried the 3 inch, that would be very narrow I think..As far as texture - the tulle I get from papermart is a good texture - although I know there is a "baby soft tulle" that is sold, I have not found a good wholesale source as of yet...Let me know what works for you!
