I played the Emu to see what all the buzz about the "pre NGE and CU" fighting was about. Uh..No. It was awful. I understand that vets were totally used to that, so therefore a massive overhaul would be terrible. But personally as someone who's started playing after the NGE I find that it is fun. As fuck. Addicting as hell. I got some friends to join and they all agree, SWG (after NGE) is the best MMO we've ever, EVER. Played.

Man those were good times...I was one of the original IFC members...I can remember some epic battles we had at the Player Cities....Remember the Alamo!!!! Poor Rebels didn't stand a chance against us.

KotOR online... Please don't make it online. As long as it has a seperate campaign mode from the online expirience then, but making KotOR a MMO wold truly ruin it, there would be no true set story and you couldnt go in depth into the story as they would have to focus more on the online play and the "quests" rather than a set story, please be like KotOR 1 xD

Darth Revan and Malak didnt get much mention in Star Wars, only in the Old republic era. Darth Revans holocrons were discover by Darth Bane i think it was but was destroyed and Malak didnt make any it think so no documentaions exists for them, making finding anything about them quite hard. Wish they was though, Revan kicked ass

NGE is pretty fun now. Putting client side mods really breathed life into the game. I can enjoy some of the old jedi style animations that they removed. The game looks and feels as good as ever (my old PC could not handle SWG).
The old SWG was really fun and I spent a lot of hours grinding away.I even had fun in the combat upgrade.

they brought back the old jedi animations, and revamped em a little, delete the animations from your folder and check em out. and yes, too many of my old friends from pre-cu and pre-nge have moved on to other games. my friends list keeps dwindling down.

Didn't play it back then, playing it now, so I can't really speak when it comes to NGE and such. It's not horrible now, but it sounds more interesting back then.
It was much much better back then... unless you don't like challenge. It was more challenging and you couldn't just start as a jedi, it was really hard to get to be one ( at least in the first couple months when I played it)

Yes. I miss the old SWG.. what they did to it made me cry and made me play WoW and EQII to get rid of the pain. Cant wait for their new and improved SW MMO. Hopefully it isnt ruined a year after production or even earlier. Soon as the new Emulator is finished for the SWG private server (old fashion SWG) i will be very happy. basically they made it more simple by, for one thing, narrowing it so everyone can be jedi asap and made it so there is only 9 profs instead of the huge variety it used to offer. I am a star wars addict so im still sticking with the game, good news is I hear someone is buying out SOE, can only be good with that!

Didn't play it back then, playing it now, so I can't really speak when it comes to NGE and such. It's not horrible now, but it sounds more interesting back then.

It was much much better back then... unless you don't like challenge. It was more challenging and you couldn't just start as a jedi, it was really hard to get to be one ( at least in the first couple months when I played it)

can anyone help me? when ever i try to play swg it will either kick me off or make my computer freeze after playing for about 45 minutes or so.. is there any way to stop this form happening so i can enjoy galaxies

Yes. I miss the old SWG.. what they did to it made me cry and made me play WoW and EQII to get rid of the pain. Cant wait for their new and improved SW MMO. Hopefully it isnt ruined a year after production or even earlier. Soon as the new Emulator is finished for the SWG private server (old fashion SWG) i will be very happy. Untill then SOE can go to hell for wut they did. Nice vid tho. Made me miss my Fencer and Teras Kasi and my Pistoleer.

basically they made it more simple by, for one thing, narrowing it so everyone can be jedi asap and made it so there is only 9 profs instead of the huge variety it used to offer. I am a star wars addict so im still sticking with the game, good news is I hear someone is buying out SOE, can only be good with that!
