  • Great video and stereo setup! Looking to do the same with my 50cc scooter. I plan to hide the speakers in the fairing with a mesh covering them and a 100 watt amplifier. Mobile phone will provide the sounds.

  • 5:04 you can also hide your drugs there

  • Nice setup is there a way you can email me and write details so I can do this to mine

  • Yes, we've seen your videos, we know you're a big fan of velcrow.

    LMAO ; ]

    Nice set up brother..

  • Damn hatred on here. To everyone their own taste. Coo man, looks good and sounds good. People seem to like no change. Not only Harley's look and sound good with a system. I like it.

  • this is fucking cool

  • I can fit a QP in my passenger seat. Hehe...

  • Earphones?

  • Good vid and good placement on your bike. It looked really good and low profiled. I've installed 2 speakers in the back and in the process of installing 4 tweeters in the front.

  • that's... so... AWESOMEEEEEEE

  • stop the rock on a motorcycle? oh my god...

  • DAYUM

  • what mp3 player is that? (brand name/product name) thanks, nice set up!

  • how many mp3 players you drop dont look like it stick on there to good

  • @mudking400 Velcro holds well. It doesn't move at all.

  • Awesome vid. All that velcro really sets your bike off!! J/K Thanks for the mounting ideas!

  • Hotel California good selection

  • do you have a bubble machine on your bike?

  • @deepdiver1986 Not this one. I did work on one on the last 2003 SV650 I owned. I'm looking to getting a literbike and putting another bubble maker on it.

  • @Spencerian

how did you exactly do that? please provide me with the easiest and cheapest way. i was thinking a bubble toy and velcoring it but idk how that would run by itself without me pressing on a button

  • It's 2011 bro get a fucking iPod! What is that $20 walmart mp3 player lol

  • @350z89 It has a unique Spinning volume controls with LEDs. Get over with it

  • so i looked on the website, and these speakers are $330.00..is that around what you payed? cuz thats kind of rediculous for some speakers.

  • @lilhemroid They're waterproof marine speakers in PIAA housings. It also includes the amp that's sized just right for the speakers. Yeah, they're expensive, but they're the most powerful / loud speakers for the compact flat size.

  • love ur vids n ur bike....keep it up!

  • Awesome

  • Have the speakers been stolen yet?

  • @karkapariah I sold the bike with the speakers on it. The guy butchered the speakers by yanking on it and damaging the wire leads. Now it totally doesn't work at all. I know, it's lame.

  • @Spencerian

gotta love idiots. i bought a bike with 55 miles on it... he put a fender eliminator... i opened it up and it looked like a fourth grader wired it up

  • Try a bluetooth system on your helmet and use it with an Ipod touch. That's the better way to listen to music...

  • i nearly shit my self when you pivoted the bike on the sidestand, i thought the bike was falling over, i was like noooo

  • Yo thx so much man im ninteen adn just got 2009 Yamaha YZF-R1 my first one and i was trying to see if u could actually buy speakers for ur motorcycle looks like u can what company sell it can u tell me plz and thx u??

  • nice music choice and what player is that?

  • impressive

  • haha nice one

  • is that velcro on your tank too?

  • Can you make a vlog of you riding while playing Kickstart My Heart by Mötley Crüe?

  • if its a ordinary speaker*

  • but what happens if it rains? :S

  • @gastank43 umm.. its wateproof

  • @gastank43 umm.. its waterproof

  • @gastank43 The Holocaust

  • im going to try to mount speakers on my drz400sm

  • @russellbrauer That would be awesome. I'd love to see that.

  • @Spencerian i did it and i wasnt short on space they were really loud and clear. ill post a picture when i have time

  • @russellbrauer would you be a little short on space

  • good job, nice tunes!

  • awesome! you wanna do that setup on my bike too? :)

  • you did a excellent job...Does your amp get hot?

  • @senatornewton I was worried it would get hot because it was small, and amps typically get hot to the touch. It does get warm, but not hot.

  • badass

  • 3:26 ftw! Very nice!

  • hey how would you rate these speakers?

  • @kylehobbs93 They're okay for 4" speakers. If you want it louder, you'll have to go with larger diameters and a subwoofer. But then that would require a much larger amp. Anyways, they do the job.

  • @Spencerian kool thanks for the quick reply. happy riding.

  • @Spencerian is it loud enough to hear it on the high way?

  • @kylehobbs93 y put speakers on a bike its so gay, i saw a gixxer with one and me and my buds wer laughin so hard LOL

  • @xninjazx6r its just safer then to wearing headphones. i dont even ride as of yet so i dont know how much of a difference there is. im just keeping my options open and looking around. but the guy in this vid has this setup of pretty nice if he didn't have them playing you wouldn't know he even has them.

  • Wow, you kept that in EXTREMELY good condition bro-ski.

At least, from what I can tell...It's such a cool freakin' bike.

So, you paid about 300 bucks for those speakers? I was looking on the UNiQ Cycle's website and it goes for around 300. I might get them, they look pretty cool...And sound awesome. :D

  • dude put sound files of police / emt sirens on ur mp3 player lol

  • very nice bike man.....when I get my bike I'm gonna make sure to cop these speakers....really cool video btw!

  • Nice job bro. Neveer would have thought about hooking it up to the stop light. Question, what kinf of amp is that and where can I purchase a similar one. Mouting pioneer speakers on my zx6r but want to find a good amp. Any suggestions? Feed back would be much appriciated. Thanks.

  • @edgars636 The kit from UniqCycle comes with a mini 200watt amp that's about the size of two cigarette packs. The small size is what you're really paying for. If you can find a miniature one like that elsewhere, I'd definitely like to know!

  • Hi Rob,

Did you use your own housings, or did you use the ones supplied with the speakers? I've checked the website and they only have them in chrome. Also what mp3 player is that? Thanks!

  • @ldnpinoy I used the ones supplied. They have them in black. You can call them and ask for them in black.

  • @ldnpinoy The mp3 player is an Insignia 8GB player that is made and sold by BestBuy.

  • Hi Rob,

Did you use your own housings, or did you use the ones supplied with the speakers? I've checked the website and they only have them in chrome. Also what mp3 player is that? Thanks!

  • why would ya want it on your bike you fool you wouldn hear d thing on a zx10

    ur an muppet

  • @DONNELLY091 It's really loud, even with earplugs on and on the freeway. Also, it's a lot safer than using earphones.

  • Can you tell me what type of speakers and amp you are using?

  • I like it. Sounds good.

  • It doesn't drain out battery without ignition on?

  • @hisham32sp No, the power gets shut off / disconnected when the ignition gets shut down.

  • awesome.... just awesome.

  • Great speakers but an even better bike. I'm pretty jealous...

  • and proud of it lol

  • Dude - that is the coolest thing ever! I have to put something like that in my bike! Great video! Thanks!

  • Wicked Nice!

  • pretty smart to relize what would happen if you disconnected the sound. i was wondering why there was no sound coming from the speakers if u disconnected them thumbs up brainiack

  • @popejohnpaul3rd You're an asshole.

  • This is the best system you can get, i got them and they were worth every penny. Around 300 dollars!!!!

  • Great :)

  • You cruising around with some tunes on made me laugh, i'd love to see a full video of you rideing with your music on. That bike and some speakers hooked up to it, what more do you need :-) Awesome videos mate.

  • cool man i was actually getting the same system, and im gonna put it on my 03 zx6r, i should do it in the next couple months, wish me luck with the install!!

  • Thats awesome!!!

  • that is siiiick! how much did that run u? and how many mile's on ur bike, just out of curiosity

  • beasley1987 - It was about US$250. The bike had about 15,000 miles, or 25,000km.

  • can these be on any sports bike?

  • caxe7 - I think so. You'll have to find a spot to mount these to your bike.

  • awesome job nice bike... im looking to do the same but i have a cruiser... did you get rid of that chrome set yet? let me know if your interested in selling them?

  • Nice bike man. I want to install those speakers on my 99 zx 6r. where did u get the housing to attach the speakers to the bike?

  • s0son2010 - It comes as a kit from UniqCycles. You can Google it and find their website, with pictures of other bike installations.

  • What kind of amp is that?

  • adespo56 - It's an UniqCycle Sounds 200watt amp.

  • very nice bike my friend !

would you sudgest mounting the speakers on the sides of the motorcycle?

  • thrillseeker901 - No, mounting the speakers on the side of the bike doesn't make sense. You won't be able to hear the speakers as much if you have the sound directed away from you.

  • great video....we riders do love attentions....

    God bless and Ride Safe

  • danielster - Hey dude! Long time no see. How's that Hyosung doing? You're one of the few people I know what owns one of those bikes. Good to see you again.

  • Thanks for the video comment! I've seen some of your videos and I like your idea's...and I was recently in Waikiki

  • DJCipster4BREAKS - Dude, you are the only other person I know that's even heard that track before. I don't know anybody else that has that tune. I listen to whatever sounds good to me, and it's usually not mainstream.

  • DJCipster4BREAKS - Oh, that freeway night clip? That was some Russian techno called Hey DJ!!!. There's a girl that says, Hey DJ a-bai-krai, repetitively about 30+ times. At least I think it's Russian. That's not your music, is it?!?

  • DJCipster4BREAKS - The tune is from Apollo440, Can't Stop The Rock.

  • Love it! But I'd be paranoid about vandalism/security even more. I listen to music on my bluetooth helmet when i ride, so I might try this idea and add a megaphone to shout at wrong-doers! LOL ♬ ♩ ♭ ♪

  • NinjaWhatsUp - Now THAT is an idea - making a megaphone to heckle all the other motorists and pedestrians! yeah!

  • That was cool !!

  • dude thats like one of the cooloest things ive ever seen, oh yea did u just pick your bike up and turn it around at 5:19

  • dipmodesquad - Yeah, that's a kickstand pivot that every biker should learn. It makes bike moving a lot easier.

  • Dude awesome job, I've been thinking about doing something like this but haven't figured out speaker placement.

    Kyle

  • man thats so badass!!

  • what kind of amplifier do you have? do you have to worry about battery drain? have you considered a second battery?

  • munkeeboi83 - I've been riding it like this for about 3 weeks, and it's all good. The alternator works quite well, and produces more than enough power. I don't run the speakers off while the bike is off, as that will definitely drain the battery. The amp is a dedicated mini amp for the stereo setup.

  • Dude, I just hope you don't get pulled over by an asshat cop. Just keep the noise below the 30' range? But other than that I'm impressed when you showed me at Ward.

  • bpmhawaii - Yeah, I have to turn the music down when I'm rollin past a cop just to be on the safe side. Don't want too much attention.

  • Nice speakers, but what I really want to know is WHERE you got that bubble machine from!? This is now a must have accessory for me.

  • zeocen - The bubble machine was a long extended project back in the early days when I had the Yamaha R1 bike. It was a custom job that was activated by a left hand throttle. I'm building another one for the next bike I get when i move up to California in a few months.

  • Awesome....this is gonna be my next project....great job

  • hahaha brilliant :D want want want!

  • Not bad I have to think about some sound for my bike.

  • sick!!!!! absolutely sick...

  • very cool !

  • I remember you posting a vid when you bought those speakers(must have been on LV). Never thought you would go ahead and install them on your bike. I was wrong :)

  • pasini36 - Procrastination is one of my hobbies.

  • I'm going to look into these kits. I'm sick of my earphones and I hate riding with no music.

    Nice bike

  • Bit obnoxious for my mind. Perhaps on the motorway....But I wear in-ear headphones. So it doubles as ear protection and music.

  • To each his own, but personally, I think having speakers on a motorcycle is pretty stupid. If you want music, wear headphones.

  • That's awesome Rob! I love how you can hear it even while cruising on the freeway.

  • Very nice install there Rob!! It sounds good on the vid, I can imagine how good it sounds in person, SWEET!!!

  • It sounds AWESOME, REEDSBUD!!!!! Sweetest boombox on 2 wheels ever! haha!

  • different indeed you got me thinking to much alol

  • pretty cool

  • Hotel California I LOVE!! <3 ^.^

  • LOL i love the way u turn ur bike with the stand down

  • Thats pretty sweet man, you are so crafty.

  • Im sorry but putting speakers on a bike is probably the most retarded thing i've ever seen.

  • aliarse - Well, it's not for everybody. Different strokes for different folks.

  • i gotta say rob. when you first had the idea of fitting speakers to your bike. i thought i wasn't going to turn out very good....... was i wrong! you have done a sweet ass job on them. it inspires me to try intsall crazy stuff on my bike.

    really nice work ;)

  • wow that is really really really really coool. I love your mods tht you have done to the bike.

  • This video made me smile, lol.

it's cool that you were actually able to think up the idea, and make it work out.

Electrical is pretty hard for me, and i work at a hardware store lol.

What was the process like installing them, was it difficult?

  • himfan1 - You know what? I am electrically challenged, even though I'm an engineer. But this was so easy, it was painless. The mechanical installation is the hard part for most people, I believe...

  • I am so doing this with my Gixxer! Very cool!

  • thanks Man, but i cant put it up in the front ill have to try to find another place for them, i was just looking at it, and each time ill turn ill hit it no problem, so i may try to put it under the plastic or something haha

  • Do you get Sirius-Xm satellite on the islands? That setup would be awesome with satellite.

  • willi234 - you know what? I don't know about that, but I don't think there's satellite radio in Hawaii. It's the boonies.

  • Were you recording that little install bit with your phone?

  • NodnarbRS - No, it was in poor lighting conditions... The recording was an afterthought in the middle of installation. I wasn't going to record it, but way I installed it allowed me to fit in in that small area. I had this speaker kit for 7 months, and I couldn't figure out how to easily make an aluminum bracket. Anyways, the zip ties ended up being much stronger and was better at making the mount very rigid.

  • I might try this with my ninja 250!

  • Sambeulink - I sure would like to see others try this installation location, because it's just the perfect spot for speakers.

  • will make a video soon as i get the speakers

  • Very cool, I never thought speakers on a bike would be very useful, so it's pretty cool to see how well they actually work.

  • lol i dont have a chopper hahah, i have a SV650S hahah, were did you get them from, because i will have to do the same thing you did because i have no room just like you. did you get them from online?

  • ChopperMan49 - I've owned a couple SV650s (the curvy one, not the angular one). There's definitely room to rig up speakers. I know that bike has way more room under the rear seat too. I got the speakers from UniqCycle. Google them, and you'll find it. You can also try eBay.

  • dude that is sick, im thinking of doing that now, but i dont think i would be able to hear it since my exhaust is soo lound

  • ChopperMan49 - If you're riding a chopper, you'd be able to rig up a set of speakers with twice the power, since you have more space. I had some serious space limitations, so I had to go with these low-profile compact ones. I'm sure if you had 400 Watt speakers, you'd definitely turn heads.

  • Really nice speakers Rob. Very innovative installation. ;^)

    Ride safe,

    (the other) Rob

  • Is there anything you can't do with velcro or zip ties? Very cleaver set up. Now I need to get a bike like yours to go with it!

  • Now you need to wire in a mic to yell at people via your speakers.

  • IamKrAzE - You know what? That would work really well. I have to wire in a switch, so that I could heckle other drivers and cops (not). hehehehe

  • NICE, the second song you played was Hank Williams, " A Cou try Boy can Survive". Thats one of my favorite songs.

  • This is the coolest bike mod!! You are a tinkering genious!!! One of these days you are going to invent something, and it will make you mega-millions!!

    Woo-hoo! All hail Rob!!
