My biggest problem with the whole fiasco is this: I worked for a NASA JSC contractor, and as a condition of our continued employment, we were required to undergo a stringent background check. This included the following: production of a SS card and certified copy of a birth certificate; information for the past seven years on one's spouse, parents, and siblings, residency, employment, any tickets or incarcerations, etc.

It shocked me that Obama did not have to provide any such information.

If you are talking about recent years then that would make you a liar. a short form is the ONLY legal birth document accepted and issued by most states for several years. starting over a decade ago, long forms were phased out state by state. for instance. S. Dakota, Michigan, N Jersey, HI, are four state that do not accept long forms to get an ID card or Driver's license. IE: long forms have for several years NOT been a legal form of ID. making your story a lie or a half truth
