When I do reckless flips and such that requires next to 0 skill, half the reason I do it is just to fix it. I guess some people like only to drive their cars and then they post comments on YouTube about how stupid and skill-less the driver is, but in reality they are driving it past the limit just to fix it.

how fast are the 5b and 5t anyway? i've never seen them go fast at all, only just quick runs here n there, but never anything pushing it, only a brushless conversion of one was pretty fast but not these.

The 5b SS and teh 2.0 and the 5T are about the same speed between 40 -45 depending on the gearing and exaust. but stock is usually about 40 MPH but in that scale its like taking your jeep at speeds of 200 MPH.

@gruzergrub5000 with a stock 23cc and stock gearing and muffler its 35 to 45, stock 26 its about 40 to 50, with modded and ported engines, tuned pipe and matched gearing to the powerband of the engine speeds can reach 70 plus

i have pushed my 5T up to 55-58 mph but that was with custom gearing and upgraded motor + exhaust, but the problem with high speed is that the rig starts t act funny and veer left and right because of tire expanson, it becomes hard to keep them in a straight line.....

yeah, if you are going full throttle right off a ramp and stay at full throttle in the air it just nose up and stay there, then you have a few a arms broken. the only way you can do a flip going wide open off a ramp is to stab full brakes and do a front flip.

Also, the larger the tires are in relation to the truck, the easier it is to do a backflip, as well as controlling it in the air. That's one reason monster truck style RCs are so easy to jump and land flat.

its because of the open wheeles and all of the airflow can be disrupted because the body does not cover alot of the vehicle and because of the big wing on the back. on the 5t the body smoothes out the airflow ALOT and theres not a huge wing.
