I do not have a video of this place but I have several pictures and could make a video. You can no longer swim there, it is now completely off limits, which is great for if you are a stealthy fisherman. To clear things up the video here is of the parking lot at the mouth of Otter Creek, same exact place as on the back of the album. And the song is a story about an actual event that took place where some one dove in an died. Nice place to swim.
Its not just a metaphor. There is a trail up the creek. Where a man made dam was built and it is the only place deep enough to dive. I use to live there in 96. I have my pics to prove it. and yes Live uses many metaphors and deep meanings in their songs. This video is of the river not otter creek.
It is not a metaphor, I grew up in York County where the band had it's origins. In fact, Mr. Kowalczyk, the lead singers' father is / was a teacher at Northeastern High School near my home. The song is not a metaphor it was written about the actual "Dam at Otter Creek", where several people have died diving off the rocks into the beautiful swimming hole below a waterfall. The water is fairly clear and greenish, but there are some big boulders protruding from the depths.

It is a metaphor. It is about suicide. Read, and then, here is the novelty. LISTEN!
