  • truly one of the greatest songwriters that has come along way. Funny how he started as a metalhead.

  • masvidal is brilliant

  • Forgive if I'm making an ass of myself, but did he say "Bjoric"? like the female artist Bjork? hahaha

  • i think he said Bjork directly.. thats how i hear it

  • You can't really blame him for mispronouncing Bjork. I'm pretty sure he said it right, anyway.

  • @ADDeluxe He said it correctly

  • Such a brilliant outlook on writing music, this guys a genius!!

  • the beatles and elliott smith are the best

  • WHEN i listen "how could i " i ask my self do they know how amazing is this song? this solo?

    this rifF?

  • I can play it :) don't check i dont' have a vid. no cam :(

  • get a cam! cover it!!! YEAEAAAAH!

  • Its really probably their easiest song...

  • i reckon Veil of Maya's pretty easy (not that i play solo's :P)

  • Hmm Probably, I tried Integral birth but Traced in Air is phenomenally hard

  • I learned the beginning of the unknown guest. It really helped me develop my pinky, that's for sure. hahahaha

  • I wonder does Paul have some sort of music-colour-Synesthesia, because he said something about colours and layers?

  • it should be some kind of mental disease? ) or ability. just kidding. i'm russian, it's useless to explain to me what is this.

  • @Vitaminnn07 its like how beethoven could play music even though he was deaf or blind or whatever he was

  • Probably not. Alot of ppl express music in the way of painting pictures. adding different extensions to chords can be considered adding color to a sound and layering is just several things going on that you dont see unless you keep looking closer and vice versa, looking at it from a far distance.

  • @Deviliumrei Layers is the same thing as multiple instrumental harmonies, it's lite coloring on a piece of paper. When he is talking about colors he is talking about the harmonies creating a certain palette with matching colors. It's all commonly used metaphors in the music industry.

  • This guy is a cool cat!...great musician!
