I have to sadly agree with quite a lot of what Gamespot has picked up on, the one thing that was a serious issue for me was the limitless lives I really like games that actually make me fear dying because it makes it more tense and exciting, Too Human does not provide those feelings as well as that they are correct when they say they throw you into the story expecting you too know it all, because of this I sold it as soon as I finished it.
Funny how Gamespot perposely made a bad gameplay review by keeping the player with 0 durability armor and barely even bothering to fight while on the last fucking level, Bravo Tardspot.
i bought this for £4 about 3 months ago and i plain hated it, the annoying combat system, the boring storyline, i managed to finish it and thought to myself "WHAT THE FUCK?!" because if how bored i was even during the climax of the game sadly i would rate it a 2/10 and just think i would give pac man a 7! :P
While we can argue all day about how good/bad this game is, the thing that killed it for me was the combat, there were just too many enemies to deal with so the only way i could beat this game was by continuously throwing myself at them.

Did you know that the game actually LOADS in the mean-time? Would you rather stare at a loard-screen for 20 seconds than watch a cool animation? I think not.
He does miss some great points about the game like at the start of story mode the ability to choose from 5 different character paths. These allow you to be better at certain skills EG. short attacks, ranged attacks and armour.
Overall I would tell any people looking to buy too human to not listen to this inaccurate review and in my opinion it is a great game and many people would like it.

As always, Gamestop fails with yet another review. I do agree that Too Human isn't a great game (Especially for a game that has been in development for over 10 yrs), but it is indeed a good game, I have been playing it for well over 30 hrs now and am still hooked on it.
I do hate it that there is no regen or potions, but death has no real penalty besided a short wait. Also, the Valkyrie scene is only about 30 secs long (still annoying, but not as bad as they make it seem).
lol gamestop sucks the only things i hate about this game is the fact that trolls AOE's and the exploding guys are way too large than they should be but they are still escapable if u time a jump correctly or if u jump and attack something in air to keep u in the air and only the other thing is camera angles cos the controls are sometimes bit glitchy other than that this is an amazing game

(possible spoilers)I think the game is great you have to understand its game 1 of who knows how many. I mean if you play story mode and beat it you'd get it. kind of like god of war. The fighting style is something you have to get used to but once you do its amazing i love tearing the enemy apart with all the awsome combos the graphics are very pretty. for the story well everything has a start even if you dont know norse you figure it out at the end. or if you just pay attention.
P.S. When you die something has to happen. i mean what do you want to just pop back up fine and dandy and run back into battle. also online that gives your teammate time to kill. I would just like to say one thing though; when you die it's kind of boring and drawn-out but there's really no penalty for you dying you basically start off right where you died even in the middle of a boss battle. It's obvious they added the Valkrie so you would receive some punishment for dying. I think they were being too generous with that death system!
I think it's bullshit how he said "The facial animations and combat are STIFF" STIFF!? These have some of the best facial animations I have EVER seen in a game! Combat is easy, but fun and awesome.

Ok first of all the reason this guy didn't like the game was he sucked. I don't know if you noticed but pretty much every clip of him playing his armor was glowing red that means its broken and that means you get hit once or twice and your dead don't listen to this fat ass if your looking for a review of games watch xplay on g4

Wow, you're retarded. 360 fails? Hmmm lets see...Gears of War 1&2, Fable 2, Mass Effect, Halo 3, basically every good game known to man is on this system. Too Human was not terrible, it just didn't live up to expectations, you can't say 360 fails for one minor slip up when the other competing systems have had tons of slips.

Not the best game I've played or the worst but there is one thing I know for sure, this review sucked! I agree with most of his points but they way he presented them was god awful and it seemed more like whining.

As always, Gamestop fails with yet another review. I do agree that Too Human isn't a great game (Especially for a game that has been in development for over 10 yrs), but it is indeed a good game, I have been playing it for well over 30 hrs now and am still hooked on it.
I do hate it that there is no regen or potions, but death has no real penalty besided a short wait. Also, the Valkyrie scene is only about 30 secs long (still annoying, but not as bad as they make it seem).

lol gamestop sucks the only things i hate about this game is the fact that trolls AOE's and the exploding guys are way too large than they should be but they are still escapable if u time a jump correctly or if u jump and attack something in air to keep u in the air and only the other thing is camera angles cos the controls are sometimes bit glitchy other than that this is an amazing game

(possible spoilers)I think the game is great you have to understand its game 1 of who knows how many. I mean if you play story mode and beat it you'd get it. kind of like god of war. The fighting style is something you have to get used to but once you do its amazing i love tearing the enemy apart with all the awsome combos the graphics are very pretty. for the story well everything has a start even if you dont know norse you figure it out at the end. or if you just pay attention.

P.S. When you die something has to happen. i mean what do you want to just pop back up fine and dandy and run back into battle. also online that gives your teammate time to kill. Remember downloadable content may fix some things that people think are wrong. also why buy a norse game without knowing the basic norse stuff. or get upset about it. i dont get upset when i buy a ninja game and dont know something there talking about. again everything is explained pay attention.

to the host. your very ugly (ie: not camera friendly) you are bad at most video games as you seem to complain about the controls and the plot alot which tells me if you arn't blindly shooting down enemies and following arrows laid out for you, you probably dont know what to do. this game wins by default. why? originality. something that has lost it's value through the waves of trendy crap that comes out. I just beat it my second time looking forward to the sequel. it's been set up very well

since i got the game i have been having a fucking shit load of god damn fun you butt fucking cock smokes, the story is great, even if you dont know about norse mythology, its not hard to understand, unless your a complete dumbass and don't deserve to live.
sure the death animation gets boring but then hey, if you didn't suck at this game then maybe you wouldn't see it so often, overall it is a good game and i will beat it with every character 2 times, gamespot review, 3.5 out of 10, gamespotSUX

I don't like Gamespot anymore. They used to be good, but now they overexaggerate everything and like to make shit up. The story is easy to follow, i didn't even pay attention and the story was easy to follow. Just without good sound design it doesn't complement the gameplay which is alot of fun. But gamespot needs to bring Jeff back. They love shitty games and hate good games.

professional reviewers have to focus on more than just, is it fun? they have to think about paceing, graphics, animation, voiceovers things like that. so alot of times games can still be very fun yet get a low score. if you watch Xplays review on this youll see they gave it a 4/5. so i have a feeling this game is still going to be fun

Sure Haze got worse reviews but it wasnt waited on as long as Too Human which turned out to be a averge game added to the 360s library so pretty much 36 fanboys are being hypocritical (my bad if i spelled it wrong)

This is in the top five worst reviews I have ever seen in my life.
I would just like to say one thing though; when you die it's kind of boring and drawn-out but there's really no penalty for you dying you basically start off right where you died even in the middle of a boss battle. It's obvious they added the Valkrie so you would receive some punishment for dying. I think they were being too generous with that death system!

1.The entire review, analogies ("lifts you up only to let you down"), hang too heavily on his dislike of the death sequence.
