I love it when people do the impossible. Its the best way of learning. Do somethink different and throw the book away. I am working on a twist and go car. Similiar clutch to a moped but using lorry brake shoes with weights on and a brake drum. All attached to a Morris Minor flywheel. Original bearbox. Its all in my head at the moment. But I am itching to start on it but too many projects at the moment.
what type of turbo is this? I do mini-tractor pulling and have been try to find a turbo for the kohler i have in one of my tractors...but this is awesome and i would like to knw more.
My engine mod appears to have upset some members of a forum.
I understand to a point that some might find this a pointless exercise.
Petter A11 types are so common I just wanted to see if it was possible.
I have many engines that are totally standard and in good condition, like my 3hp Fairbanks Morse. In past years I have won a few awards for restoration of my petter M type. A super charger would definitely be better.
So lighten up folks, it's just an experiment and totally reversible.
@nathanamos hey, Glad you have done this and well done, I was thinking how cool this would be on a lister D, I dont no why peopple get so angry by this I think you have done a great job at this and this sort of thing is what would intrest younger folk into restoration and mechanics, would love to see one at a show for example,., i was going to spray up a D in black and yellow, just cause they are all green ,, oh look another D type

I think this set up realy good considering moste of the turbos that are put on small eninges bog the shit out of them and this one actually preforms.

lol, to much time on my hands. I tend to think out side of the box. Might give Nitrous Oxide a go. Or a super charger:-)
