How to get ChickHEN R2 to Work on PSP 1000

do you have to keep running chickhen after installing cfw? i'v been out of the psp modding scene for a long time and just found my psp 1001 with fw 3.80 and not sure if i should do pandora w/ mms or this. any suggestions would be much appreciated!!

@pi11sburydoeboy No you do not need ChickHEN running at the same time as CFW when it is installed. You could use a pandora, however they are no longer need to hack a PSP. Just update to 6.60 firmware and go download 6.60PRO and just run it from the XMB on official firmware and you now have custom firmware.

@hi200148667 YOU DO NOT ACTUALLY SELECT THE PICTURE, The exploit should work when the PSP reads the thumbnail, not the ACTUAL picture. Dont select the pic, just let it read the thumbnail. If it doesnt work, you have to try again.

Yes it doesn't matter about firmware it matters about your motherboard version in this case

That is due to the fact that you have a higher firmware than 5.03 and you cannot downgrade with out a pandora battery

Well here is a little knowledge for you about PSPs and ChickHEN R2. First I do not need to know what datacode your PSP is. Second ChickHEN is only temporary and can only play homebrew. Now your probably mad right? Wrong you should be happy. Go to my other about hacking your PSP without a pandora battery and download the hell cat's recovery flasher. This will hack your PSP for you with the combination of ChickHEN.
