Monoral totally nails it here in less than the 1-minute mark. Unfortunately, from the record promotion point of view, the guys should have remained invisible with no images of them seen for a couple of years to build up a massive following via press/radio/retail, where they only want blonde haired, blue eyed rockers

I know. I hate how some people mock other people just because they discovered a band by watching an anime intro/ending. I've found a lot of bands I like that way, but I don't like them just because their song was on an anime, and I don't just listen to songs of theirs that were on anime. Usually, it's because I had no other way of hearing of the band. Music snobs get on my nerves.

Probably, but they did it so the video wouldn't be monotonous 'cause I bet that anyone would be extremely bored at watching just a band playing, and the camera recording the entire video at one angle.

i dunno about that. when i go to shows, if i'm not dancing or whatever, i tend to stand in the same spot and watch. for me, i just find this way too distracting. like staring into a strobe light. except instead of strobe lights, it's jump cuts.
