  • great rock and roll band....saw them live at the Marquee in London in 1972....the club was absolutely packed...they had a mind blowing set....wow!!!!!!!

  • not a slade written song but they covered it that good they made it there own. GREAT BRITISH BAND FROM 1960s 70s 80sand 90s THANK YOU NODDY DAVE JIMMY AND DON for great music.

  • raw and pure

  • I really like to see the full version as featured on "Slade Alive"

  • @6motion: In what way?

  • the intro... just fuckin perfect! no count, no hesitation.. just fuckin boom! the slade!

  • As much as I liked Steppenwolf's original, this cover takes the song one step higher.

  • snazz a little bit late was also at that concert wow blow my mind great couldnt hear for a few days later

  • nice yellow jumpsuit =D

  • yes yes...very nice =))

  • lol one person dancing haha

  • That sound gives some idea of how loud these guys were. When they played in Manchester at the now B&Q place near lancashire cricket ground, I was told people could hardly here a thing for hours later.

  • @snazz2 More like a day later ... seriously ... after 40 years I still rate their live show the best I've been to. Pure excitement ... and power.

  • They closed most of their shows with this- anyone have longer version and good sound?
