Now that my Greasepaint Stick from the Style Black Collection is almost gone, I now know about the sharpener. Wish you had been at our MAC counter when this was released. :o

I was wondering!!! Do u use covergirl cause I have the eyeshadow stick right now I don't remember what's called but it's the one that comes out in comercials lots n is the purple w silver... So my question is, Do u think u can do a tutorial on that??? Please, I tried it but it doesn't look like how they did it in the commercials....

I bought the grease sticks in Zinc Zone and Dirty (which has sold out in America) and I love them as a base as well for the smoky eye. I also love the Pearl Glide pencils that they released with the collection, especially Industrial which i use with Moon's Reflection shadow. I would love to hear what you think of the pencils that are in the collection.

Do you also have the lip stains? I'm thinking about getting these, but they're $26 a piece in Germany and I've heard so many conflicting reviews about them. I don't want to spend so much money on something that just dries out quickly or doesn't actually stay on and stain the lips... Have you tried them?

I have zinc zone and I love it. You're totally right, you can use it with any color to make the perfect smokey eye. I didn't know it had a sharpener at the end though! That will make the water line soooo much easier <3

i really wish they would just stick it in their permanent collection rather than having to buy a bunch every time they come out or hunt it down across the city for one colour.

yes i totally agreee. i wish they would make them permentaly, but who knows , if they sell really well then they prob will in the future. they did the same thing with dazzleglass and creemsheen glass, so now those are perm. keep fingers crossed. im still waiting for dazzlecreme glass and the pearlglide liners to become perm , same with these greasepaint sticks!

I agree, the shade sticks are a lot dryer than the greasepaint sticks. I have the Uniformly blue greasepaint stick and it is marvelous!

Thats why I rarely use my Shadesticks anymore, they pull the skin so much! It hurts your eyes. Not good.

@MissThomCat - Just a suggestion....I rub the color onto my finger and then apply it to my lid....it really softens and warms the product & it smooths right on with no tugging or pulling....I thought this might be helpful :)

You said they last all day and they don't budge, but are they hard to take off when you remove your makeup? They look amazing and soo smooth to apply, unlike the shadesticks. You are soo pretty, by the way :)

Great review - and I agree w/everything you say that I bought all of them except for 2 colours. They are so easy to use and creamy and easy to apply BUT don't crease or smudge off. MAC has hit a winner here.

i had the black greasepaint that were launched together with the D'squared range...it was hard to work with bcos it was difficult to blend and flakes off easily...read reviews on makeupalley with similar problem with the greasepaint...i hope the new formula fixed that those problems...

ah thanks for the grease- vs shadestick,I have two shadesticks back from the sugarsweet collection (lemon chiffon+red velvet) and they are a pain to use ..especially to blend in ..so I didn't knew wether the greaspaints were worth it.
