@ColtonKnapp I do not see it there. Compared to other movie monsters, the Cloverfield monster is rather small in proportion. Putting it up against Laser Artillery, freezer weapons, advanced missiles, or the Black Hole Cannon, in Godzilla vs Megagurius, would easily kill that thing. Regardless of those factors, the original point from, the person i responded to, was that in a battle between the Cloverfield monster and Godzilla(Japanese version, not Zilla), Godzilla wins easily.

@ColtonKnapp I just looked it up online, and there just about the same height, but the Godzilla monster's height has changed from time to time. Godzilla seemed taller because of the camera angles. In Cloverfield it was on the ground, while it Godzilla its right next to him or above. It was at its tallest in Godzilla vs Destroyah. Regardless of height, Godzilla is still wins.

@pingo123josh I respect your opinion, but fuck King Kong. In the original, and the remake, King Kong was killed by people using technology from the 1930's. Godzilla has time and time again destroyed laser tanks, robot monsters, and has even evaded a man made Black Hole. It would turn into that scene in Final War where Godzilla killed Zilla with two blast of its beam, and a tail whip lash. King Kong wouldnt last one round. I always discounted the original Godzilla vs King Kong.

Mothra is a keeper of nature and peace and Godzilla was originally a dinosaur created by nature and destroyed by man so when the government took the bones of the original Godzilla and turned him into kiryu Mothra got pissed because they once again disturbed Godzilla and turned him into another experiment of man.

the best part about this movie is how the humans react to the monsters. Seeing mothra in their backyard was almost the highlight of the day, and they got used to being main characters and dont mind nearly getting killed because they know they're main characters

This is easily one of the best Godzilla movies, and is a true testament to the monster movie genre. Honestly, it's a masterpiece. Not only are the battle scenes incredible, the music is great as well. I absolutely love the music at the end of the movie, right around the line, "And now, Godzilla must return to the sea." That's awesome. It's easily my favorite of the Millennium series. I can't wait for the 2012 film! Godzilla will return!

The Millenium series was not that great. Godzilla 2000 and Final Wars were good. The hesisi series was ok. But The Showa was very good the old Godzilla movies are good the new ones nut too much. My favs are King of the monsters the first one and Monster Zero.

I don't really care much for the 2000 series, but i don't blame Toho for the mistakes or weak point's in this era of films i blame Tri-Star an Sony...

There disaster forced Toho to bring Godzilla out of retirement 5 years ahead of schedule. Which they were un-prepared for, an at the time just focused in doing serious damage control but it was to late at that time. So while the 2000 era of films weren't all amazing, prop's 2 Toho for caring enough about fan's to bring him back early
